From a buyers perspective, our house purchase took 6 months, and a lot of the time while solicitors seemed to drag their feet it felt like Andrew and his team were the only people actually pushing things along. Particularly as we neared the end of our mortgage offer and were worried we'd have to apply again after rates had gone up, they helped get it across the line. We've got no plans to move now, but if we were to sell we'd definitely use Colebrook Seccombes

The team here at colebrook were fantastic. I brought my property in march and they were on the ball every step of the way. I personally dealt with Andrew and the communication was faultless throughout the process. All my questions were answered with expertise and although most my questions started with "this might be a silly question but..." I didn't once feel I was a burden or a nuisance. I hope not to move for many years but if the time comes to sell/buy again I'd contact colebrook without any hesitation.

We cannot recommend Colebrook Seccombes highly enough. Having purchased a property through them last year we did not hesitate to think of using them to sell our house this year. Andrew and his team are possibly the most professional estate agents my husband and I have ever used (and we have used a lot!). Professional Guide throughout the whole process.
Andrew has a refreshing calm demeanour and is a very successful salesman. He is confident in his advice and takes a pragmatic and knowledgeable lead in proceedings. I can wholly recommend the team at Colebrook Seccombes. The team, Andrew, Anne, Majella and Shelley were brilliant from beginning to completion in helping us sell our house. You get the sense throughout they really care about your plans and have compassion for just how stressful selling a house can be! Communication was often and they kept pushing through to completion. I think these are rare traits in the industry having sold houses before with other agents. Pricing was fair in comparison to other quotes. The team's knowledge of complex issues was also very welcomed during the negotiation period. Andrew and team have been very professional in dealing with evaluating and selling our property, from start to finish. Andrew initially did an evaluation on our late fathers property for Probate purposes. He then took on the sale of the property. The valuation of the property in our opinion was extremely accurate and inline with other similar properties. Every step of the sale was managed by Andrew and team. They are a very proactive team and dealt with any issues that had to be dealt with, very efficiently. They kept all parties up to date on progress, Buyer, seller and Solicitors. Moving the sale through the process as efficiently as possible.

I wouldn’t recommend. If I can give negative star rating, I would. Made us pay for general wear and tear on paint. There were things that were in the contract such as as a chip on the cooker that was already there prior to us moving in and that was still charged to us when we left. Everytime something in the house needs repairing (eg: old pipe burst) the agent J told us it’s because we don’t turn the heating on, we then said there’s not even a radiator in the room, she just said “oh, is there no radiator?” When I tried to argue about the deductions in our deposit, it was ignored. In the end I just gave up because I didn’t have the time and energy to continue arguing. I’m glad there are other letting agents now in Kineton. Avoid Seccombes at all cost if you are wanting to rent.

It’s apparent that selling houses the team are very good. We can speculate why that would be.however if you are a tenant they do not treat you with the same level of respect. They will patronise you, talk down to you and then put the blame on you. Please go with another letting agent. I am a home owner and would be mortified if I knew a letting agent was talking to my tenants in the same way.

I really can't recommend this agency too highly. Thanks to them, I am sitting in a gorgeous kitchen of a house I love. I had been looking for nine months and had pretty much given up hope of finding anything suitable. Out of the blue, one of the Colebrook Seccombes team rang me to say that a house had come back on the market would I like to go and see it? I would, I did, I purchased. Special mention must go to Andrew Seccombes who patiently accompanied me on several viewings with various best mates in tow. And during the final stressy toings and froings between the solicitors, he made sure that everyone was on the same page and kept talking to one another. I only wish that the (much bigger) agency I used to sell my own house had been a fraction as committed or efficient. They are simply wonderful.

We bought our first house through Seccombes in Kineton. The owner, Andrew, dealt with the sale on the vendors behalf.
Andrew was very helpful throughout the whole process, chasing the vendors, arranging times with the surveyors and chasing the solicitors for answers. Not once did Andrew brush off any questions to another party, he always did his best to answer questions and make suggestions where he couldn't. Not only that, he was very prompt too!
We had to travel a long way and Andrew made sure everything was addressed before we even left for a viewing, to ensure no one's time was wasted.
I would highly recommend Andrew and Seccombes to any buyer or seller in the area!

Just had the sale of our house handled by Andrew at Seccombes in Kineton and he did a brilliant job in difficult circumstances.
Right from the off Andrew was highly professional and showed real attention to detail regarding the photos and sales literature.
Our house generated a decent amount of interest, which Andrew expertly managed (in terms of the multiple viewings at short notice) - and our house was sold within a few days.
Our sale was drawn out by estate agents handling the sales further down the chain. Fortunately Andrew showed how it was done – constantly keeping the pressure applied down the chain to ensure things moved forwards.
Throughout the process we really felt that Andrew was constantly working and chasing on our behalf (without being pestered to do so, like you sometimes get the feeling with estate agents). Every time we sent an email we'd get a reply from Andrew within an hour or two (usually quicker).....every time we rang and left a message he would call back in a similarly quick fashion......you can't ask for any more.
I have already recommended Seccombes to several people on the back of this recent experience.

Seccombes, Kineton, handled the letting of my property from November 2009 until July 2020 when they also successfully completed a sale. During that very long time the Seccombes letting department were terrific, always responsive and easy to communicate with (even during Covid Lockdown). We put our house on the market in September 2019 just as Brexit was really taking hold. Despite the challenges we got our sale in January and of course we were then hit with an even bigger challenge - COVID19 which prolonged the sale process. Andrew and the Seccombes team were a delight to work with, truly professional throughout, always available on the phone, and email keeping us up to date on everything. Most importantly Andrew handled everything carefully making the right decisions when needed to make sure our sale still went through and so we could complete as soon as the restrictive lockdown measures were lifted.
