I would not recommend this agency. They are extremely rude on phone. 3 times I have spoken to them with 3 different staff members and each time I received very rude responses and poor customer service. As a local resident we do not expect this in our area. Please sort your act out!!... Read more

I bought my first own place through this agency. They were good with arranging the viewing and the handling the offers BUT after my offer was approved MY solicitors had a hard time to get them to settle on the contract exchange and completion dates and finally after (with delays) I moved in they were reluctant to help me contacting the seller who left a lot of mess and damage behind. WOULD AVOID THEM! PS Their response just shows they don't even apologize just keep blaming others. The sellers were and stay awful to the point that I had to chuck their Ring doorbell because they wouldn't transfer it over for 6 months I kept asking.... Read more

Snowgate recently sold a property on my behalf. They dealt with viewings and we swiftly accepted an offer. We made the mistake of accepting an offer from a buyer who were also selling their property through Snowgate. We felt they were not acting in our best interests and instead constantly tried to keep both parties happy. They also provided a surveyor a key to the property without our consent (key was only provided to them to complete the viewings). To be met with a response of 'we're all professionals' was not acceptable and also stated that the property was unoccupied! I agreed that it was unoccupied just NOT EMPTY. All the staff made the process simple and stress free. They were transparent throughout and helped with any issues that came up. There was an issue after the sale went through with a meter reading which the team sorted quickly and they had no obligation to do so. I also bought a property in Surrey and the team were very helpful in guiding me through everything. I had never done anything like this on my own before, it was a very steep leaning curve for me. Snowgates were amazingly helpful and professional from the outset. The valuation they gave me was comprehensive and honest. Once my property went on the market, the team worked tirelessly, booking a whole day of viewings the first weekend which resulted in a number of offers. Since accepting the offer, we hit a number of bumps in the road with the conveyancing process but Snowgates kept me up to date with emails and phone calls every couple of days, always stepping in to help and advise where they could. From start to finish the team at Snowgate have been great, helping myself and my partner sell our properties to be able to move in together. Oliver is really professional, knows this stuff and is very easy to communicate with. At a time when the market was extremely busy he gave me confidence that all would be OK unlike other estate agents who were somewhat scaremongering about the difficulties we'd face finding a property to move onto. Even when I lost my initial buyer, Snowgate had an interested party that very day which luckily didn't affect the chain or the property we wanted to move into, no doubt due to the handling by Snowgate. When the chain struggled to identify a completion date whilst we were away on holiday, Snowgate were on hand to do whatever it took to smooth that process; assisting us with finding removals at very short notice after we lost our initial date. Overall we're very happy with the service we received and would not hesitate to recommend. Special mention to Brenda and Val for their tenacity and solution finding! I would highly recommend Snowgate. From the very start they came across as professional, knowledgeable, personable and efficient and made me feel like the sale would be safe in their hands. The communication throughout the process has been excellent. I felt like Brenda went above and beyond to chase the chain for me, especially when the progress started to slow down, and when the bottom of the chain unfortunately fell through, Snowgate were quick to get the property back on the market and had secured me another buyer the following day. I think that during the current situation with the current pandemic it is ridiculous that Earnshaw Kay have not made changes to the way they do things. I have been forced to potentially loose out on a property I want to buy or put my self and my family at risk to go and see a property I was absolutely fine making a offer with out seeing the property. From the information and pictures I was happy to make an offer without seeing the proper. Due the shielding I couldn’t go and see the property so wanted to make an offer. I had every faith in the pictures and description on the property and I was happy that any problems would be brought to my attention by the surveyor. Unfortunately this wasn’t good enough for Earnshaw Kay and told me unfortunately I couldn’t make an Offer unless I risk my health and the health of others and go and see the property. So I have had to come out of isolation and risk my health or risk loosing the property.... Read more
