I think my review is way over due but has always been on my mind as I’m forever grateful to William H Brown Dewsbury. The help and attitude I have received from them has been so positive which has made it so much easier for myself. I am especially grateful to Liam who has been incredible throughout. With me constantly ringing and emailing with anything I didn’t understand as it being my first property Liam was always quick to responds. Thank you and sorry for having to deal with me pestering you all ???? I have already recommended the branch and Liam especially to anyone who talks to me about buying a home and still one year later I am doing the same. I think my review has been well over due but has always been in my mind. I am forever grateful to William H Brown Dewsbury for helping me through my property journey. I would especially like to thank Liam who is absolutely amazing in helping me buy my first home. Giving me hope and assisting me on the path which is right for me. Dealing with me constantly pestering him through emails and calls whenever I didn’t understand anything haha! However, I would always get instant responses via email or call with great detail. At such a stressing time in my life the staff has made me feel at ease and made the process much easier. Dewsbury. I recently had the pleasure of working with James to purchase a new dream home. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure. From our initial conversations and throughout the whole process, James was very professional. At each step in the whole process, James came through with his commitment to excellence. James had got back to me in the time scale he said he would with all the updates for my new dream home!!! Thank you so much to James and the team for helping myself and manny start a new journey.

We recently used William H Brown to sell our house in Dewsbury and I'm so glad we did! We had plenty of viewings straight away and our house didn't take long to sell. We were really happy with the service we received from the whole team at William H Brown in Dewsbury from start to finish. They made a stressful process as stress free as it could have been. Whenever I called the branch, they knew who I was, were friendly and took the time to help me out with any queries I had which really put me at ease. Communication was excellent, in particular from James and Jo who kept me up to date with where we were in the selling process. Their knowledge of the local area is invaluable and I highly recommend!

I would say it’s a solid 5/5 experience they are all so lovely and supportive especially when I was getting stressy and calling them every other day asking what things meant they helped understand what was going on in the process I would definitely recommend to anything and a huge thank you to Liam James and braid as they helped so much throughout this process they are a credit to have at William h brown

Where do I even start... So not only did we sell a property (eventually) we also brought a property with this branch... I'll start first with our experience as a vendor.
Our property was put on the market and we advised Willian H Brown that we would like them to do the viewings, however, this was never the case. We proceeded to carry out all viewings ourselves. We were made an offer which we accepted and were informed by the branch manager that the buyers were trusted customers, no proof of deposit or mortgage in principle was ever given... Due to the lack of checks by William H Brown, the initial buys were declined a mortgage. The property went back on the market.
We eventually sold the property, however the managers conduct and customer service was very questionable. She began to harass our solicitor and use expletives in emails to him because the sale was taking a bit of time, may I add, through no fault of our own. It's fair to say our solicitor was mortified and was unable to reply.
Now as a buyer... This was by far thee worst experience ever! My offer on a property was successful, I began searching for the best mortgage options for myself and my partner. Granted this took a bit of time, but rather than call in a professional manner, the initial call was very matter of fact... When I informed William H Brown that we had applied for mortgage, they outright asked if I had been declined a mortgage which was extremely unprofessional. When I advised i had not been declined, he asked for my mortgage advisors details to confirm what I was saying was infact true.
Following this telephone exchange. The branch manager (again) proceeded to contact me, shouting down the phone, informing me that she was going to put the property back on the market. I informed her that I had just had a death in the family, to which she replied she could wait until the day after. My mortgage advisor called her on my behalf to reassure her we were awaiting me to fill it a form but due to unforseen circumstances I had been otherwise engaged. She then proceeded to ask my mortgage advisor if I had a bad credit history! How extremely unprofessional and quite simply non of her business as my mortgage advisor advised her!! During this time, not only did I have to come to terms with losing a beloved member of my family, but the added stress William H Brown was putting on myself which was made even worse by her trying to pry in to my life.
My mortgage advisor spoke to the branch manager everyday following this to keep her updated and I assumed that everything was OK and going smoothly. How wrong was I?? Quite innocently I went online to show family of the property I was purchasing, only to realise it was back on the market! This was done without mine or my mortgage advisors knowledge. Thankfully I had the vendors personal number and called her myself, I think it's fair to say she was as surprised as myself and assured me this was done without her permission and she had no intention of selling to anyone but myself. The vendor asked me to contact her directly with queries and I also advised her of the same as our trust in William H Brown was non existent.
I decided not to question William H Brown and proceed with my mortgage. The branch manager then got in touch with my mortgage advisor and asked him who our lender was, again, extremely unprofessional and again, none of her business. My mortgage advisor then asked her why the property was on the market and she informed him that this was the decision of the vendor but they were not taking viewings, unbeknown to her that we were in touch with the vendor.
I am absolutely disgusted with the service we received and can whole heartedly say I have never ever come across worse customer service in my life. They quite often raised their voice and spoke ill of me and called me a problem case. Good luck to anyone selling or buying a property from this sorry excuse of an establishment, you're going to need it

Avoid like the plague. Absolute cow boys. Had extremely poor service both times I have tried arranging a viewing.
Arranged a viewing and turned up at the specified time yet was turned away by two rude, unprofessional staff members as apparently they had been there 15 minutes prior to the arranged time. They refused to let me view the property despite me taking time off work and travelling over 45 minutes. I was told they had ‘another viewing’ yet they were already at their office within 20 minutes. Clearly no viewing and just bone idle, lazy with stinking attitude. The manager is also rude. Worst estate agents to deal with. I would give 0 if I could. Absolute shambles.

Great people, I have seen the professionalism at a very high level the staff at Dewsbury branch were really good with communication, follow ups, and advice. I have no doubt what so ever to recommend this branch to anyone especially the first time buyers as we have lots of questions, lots of queries I am sure people like Ms Braid Parson will be there to help you and guide you through out the whole process.

Purchased a House listed by William H Brown Dewsbury and also used their in-house Mortgage Advisor Liam Evers. The purchase was not without difficulties (none of which were their fault) The whole process was made less stress free due to there exceptional professionalism and expertise. Liam and all the staff were a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend their services. Thank you for your help guys and girls.

Fantastic service! Highly recommend!
I cannot recommend this company enough. From day 1, they outshone all of the other estate agents I had my property valued with. Their service has been fantastic, I couldn’t have asked for more. The whole team, they knew who I was when I phoned, knew what my needs were and the support we needed with our sale. Their advice was so helpful and their reassurance throughout selling made the whole process so much easier and far less stressful.
James and Jo were amazing and I wouldn’t think twice to recommend them to others and also use William Brown again should I require estate agents in the future.
They won’t be the cheapest but they also aren’t the most expensive and please remember you get what you pay for. You will need a team like this to get you through your sale/purchase.
