I dealt with Stephenson's at a very difficult time as I sold my deceased mum's home. I used the Easingwold branch and from the very start Gill and the team were so helpful and guided me through the sale process, including the issue of the probate. The sale was not straightforward due to the representatives of the other parties involved in the sale and the team especially Gill went above and beyond what was required of them in sorting the issues out, keeping me fully updated throughout the whole process. We recently sold our bungalow in Raskelf through Stephensons and were very pleased with the process. From the initial contact with Nick Lawrence who photographed and presented the property for marketing and Fiona and Gill in the office who always kept us up to speed with what was happening.
There were a few testing times along the way as we were leaving the area and moving to the Isle of Man but thanks to the hardwork of Fiona it all came together in the end.

We purchased through Stephenson's and both Gill and Fiona were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They are possibly the most responsive estate agents I have ever come across. Throughout the purchasing process, they were proactive, quick to respond to queries and provided regular updates.
On completion day, we would have been (quite literally) left homeless if it was not for their fantastic service and utter determination to get problems resolved - even staying well after hours to help make sure we completed. We will definitely use them in the future and I don't think you could find a better estate agents.

Get a grip Stephensons Easingwold! If you value your time and privacy, whether a buyer or seller avoid these cowboys.
Unprofessional, rude and clearly data harvesting of which I will be referring them to the ICO for.
Travelled from London to view a property marketed by them, only to find out several days after the viewing that the vendors would not be ready to move until March/ April 2021, clearly this should be highly visible on the listing and mentioned at time of booking. Especially when so much of our information and our circumstances are ‘needed’ from us to even pursue a property. They were happy to mislead and pull us along for a viewing to up their numbers and tick their boxes.
Fiona deserves a special mention for her unprofessionalism and rudeness and if the ICO agrees with me of which I have no doubt they’ll do, open the partners up for a warning and or fine. Gathering a ton of personal information fully well knowing the full circumstances of the property she is marketing. Perhaps, had she listened properly to our circumstance and where we were in our chain rather than assuming she knew what was happening she could probably do a lot better.
I have no doubt the positive reviews are ‘paid for’ having had my own personal interaction. Be warned and save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere!
Stephensons Easingwold in a nut shell are a dishonest data harvesting bunch of cowboys.
If management are reading this delete my wife’s and my personal data in it’s entirety.
- I have reviewed Stephensons Easingwold response, and it confirms their Neolithic incompetence. I note they do not deny nor apologise for withholding crucial dates -The fact that completion would not be possible until March ‘21, completely wasting our time and most likely that of many others. The fact Fiona lacks the necessary skills to negotiate reflects badly on management too. Buyers be warned this firm lacks integrity and transparency.

I interviewed 4 estate agents before I went with Stephensons. I am an online shopper and I did consider going that way, but Nick from Stephensons was very persuasive it made sense that I pay extra for a local team. I cannot tell you how glad I am that I did that. Nick did lovely photos of my property. The sale was prolonged and I was less than patient. The team of women in the office were fabulous as they took over and led me through. Fiona went above and beyond to help with things that needed addressing, often at a distance. The post sale procedures were much more complex than I imagined and I felt that they kept on top of my case all the way. Highly recommend.

I had the most wonderful support from the team in Easingwold.. For 5 months I had a stressful and complicated time which necessitated numerous visits and requests for advice. The other positive reveiws are clearly fake, either that or they've knocked off a percentage of their selling fees like they tried black mailing me with to prevent me leaving them with a negative (true) review.

Rentals are not first come first served even if you have your ducks in a row! Stephensons exclusively support home owners discriminations/prejudices/tastes/and attributions concerning prospective tenants. They reserve the right to choose regardless of the notion of a queue. So don't turn up from Lands End with qualifications expecting a fair go at first come first served to relocate because of elderly parents.. Good luck ????

I'd never recommended this esate agents to anyone, they make themselves look like there the best agents out there but they don't seem to use any sources to push the sale of your property. If your happy to knock £20,000 off the valuation price then these are the agents to use. All they want is a quick sale so they get paid out.
