Me and my wife agree that they managed to get the best possible price for our house. They were always available whenever we needed to speak to them and constantly kept us in the loop. Their after sales were more than brilliant too, always chasing further up the chain for us. I’m not sure if our purchase would have gone through without Caroline due to the other estate agents being extremely poor.

We first came across Stobart & Hurrell via Rightmove and contacted them through email to arrange a viewing. They responded swiftly and explained the details of the property and the process and documentation needed to secure the viewing. Once provided, we met Anna at the property, who was very professional. Due to Covid, she let us look around independently whilst also gauging our needs and as the seller wasn't present, she did a great job at explaining their situation so everything was crystal clear.
After acceptance of our offer, our main point of contact was Caroline who we absolutely cannot recommend and thank enough!! The property we bought was part of a relatively long chain, which bought its challenges. Caroline went above and beyond every step of the way to guide us and inform us of updates across the entire chain. Not only is Caroline professional and brilliant at what she does, she builds a great rapport with her clients and would often provide communication via email multiple times a day. This was much appreciated and significantly better than our own conveyancer who, in order to compensate for their lack of service, Caroline took on more than what was required of her and she regularly provided vital updates that nobody else bothered to chase. Additionally, Caroline showed deep empathy for our personal situation, as our son was born right in the middle of the process, along with the current restrictions made for a stressful few months.
We thoroughly recommend Stobart & Hurrell to anybody looking to sell / buy a property and we will certainly be using them ourselves in future if/when the time arises.

If possible, I would award Stobart & Hurrell zero stars. As buyers, they treated us with disdain and indifference from the outset. They were so aggressive that it nearly lost them the sale and even shocked other estate agents. They failed to communicate with each other and could not be bothered to communicate with us, failing to pass on important information from their client, while any emails they did send were full of bizarre, faux-legal language, presumably in an attempt to make their role appear more important than it actually is. When our sale initially fell through we informed them straight away, but they had neither the professional nor personal courtesy to acknowledge the fact or respond, though the property was back on the open market in an instant. They were so totally focused on their commission that they forgot to treat us properly, which in turn so very nearly lost them their commission. Awful to deal with and without doubt the most unhelpful and unpleasant estate agents I have ever come across. If you have any choice in the matter at all, avoid at all costs.

We saw a house we really wanted which was for sale with this company. So the week after we had viewed it we put ours on the market. The process was amazing, Patrick and Peter were so patient and very knowledgeable and I felt so comfortable selling our house with them. All the way through the process Terie and Anna kept me updated and my husband and were brilliant. We have moved today and the lovely Kerry and Zak also get a mention for showing us round our new house and they didn't rush or push us at all. They were so personable and couldn't do enough for us. I can't recommend this family company enough not your usual estate agent they are just fabulous. I must say too the fees were very reasonable and for the service received it was worth every penny.

So far so good my sale hasn't quite finished yet but Stobart & Hurrell have been spectacular.
I'm not a fan of estate agents (who is) but S&H have been really exceptional, they benefit hugely from not being a faceless corporation, real human beings focused on real achievable outcomes. They got me a great price and seemed genuinely motivated to do it as well. They also suffered my silly questions with aplomb and good humour. I've already recommended them to friends and family as simply a step above the rest.

The only estate agent that I feel I could recommend and would have no problem using again.
Very professional and friendly service throughout a complex sales process. When the buyer at the bottom of the chain was not able to continue the team very quickly turned to another interested party and the deal was completed in a very short timescale. This I believe was only possible due to the care and concern they have for everyone within their sales process.
Communication throughout the process was frequent and informative and much appreciated especially at times of stress. Brilliant.

They help themselves to visit your property without you knowing.
