I’m very happy with the purchase of our first property in Stanmore and very pleased with the level of service Stone Butters provided. My point of liaison was Neil Butters and what I liked about him was that Neil was super honest and realistic . I have dealt with several estate agents who are smooth talkers, set false expectations and are wishy washy which doesn’t help build that trust and confidence as an anxious property buyer . Neil was very hands on and was always available to answer questions ,provide clarifications and also sort out any issue (small or big) very quickly . Stone Butters acted on my behalf to sell my property in Mill Hill. Having used many Estate Agents in the past and always been disappointed, on this occasion I was pleasantly surprised. Several viewings were arranged almost immediately, with an offer secured within weeks. I dealt mainly with Neil Butters and through the whole process he was honest, realistic , helpful and informative. I was kept informed of all viewings and given feedback every time. Phone calls were always returned. The rest of the team were also pleasant and very professional. If you are buying or selling a property I really can’t recommend Stone Butters highly enough. I found Stone Butters after they sold another house in my street. Neil is professional, very knowledgeable and experienced. I was initially apprehensive of selling our house, but the experience with Stone Butters totally exceeded my expectations. Neil handled all the viewings and communications, and he was super responsive. We just sat back and let him do his work. Basically, he took stress out of the whole process. Excellent stewardship from start to finish for our recent sale from Tony and the team. Beginning with a considered valuation (c.70K over the other two agents I met). Tony spent time assessing the market price as opposed to turning up with it already in mind. We secured sale at 99% of asking : so we were vindicated in proceeding with Stone Butters and they were vindicated in their valuation. They were able to manage us through the sale and importantly the solicitors to completion. I think it’s a team of about 4/5 - small, but that actually means they all know what they are doing and are personable : important for what is a significant transaction. Highly recommended.... A friend advised me to use Stone Butters estate agent to sell my house because he had used them more than once and been delighted. It was a very good choice, Tony and Neil came round promptly to value and photograph my house - and were extremely obliging even when I changed my mind about which photos I wanted. Edward accompanied all viewings and has been a polite and calming influence when I was stressed because my purchase caused delays to my sale. Outstanding personal service from Tony, Neil and Edward. Placed our property on the market a few days before Christmas, generally not the best time to sell, and I really didn't expect very much before the Spring - However, sale agreed in 3 days at an excellent price, they were spot on with the valuation, contracts exchanged in six weeks without any problems and an early completion. I was kept informed every step of the way. “Stone Butters were excellent to deal with. Neil Butters was with us every step of the way during the sales process. When we first met him he arrived at the property and immediately started measuring the rooms and got right down to business. He showed us details of comparable houses on the same street which he had sold the prior month. He offered excellent advice and clearly knew the market inside and out. We listed the property right away and the next day we had a number of viewings. We were notified of all viewings right away. The house was sold for close to the guide price within a week. Neil was always available and would always be there to answer any questions big or small. The great thing was that we dealt with him for everything - no layers of middle management here - which we noticed with other bigger agencies. Neil made the process seamless and constantly updated us during the entire process. He is extremely proactive and does everything possible to move the process forward at all times. Any body reading this will know that buying and selling a property can be and is quite stressful. We called in 3 local agents and SB were by far the most professional, all the prospective buyers that they introduced were serious buyers, they kept us informed at all times via email of viewing reports and comments that were made. When there was a slight hiccup with our purchaser, they dealt with it. A nice touch when everything had been completed was receiving a bouquet a few days after moving in to our new property (perhaps a bottle of scotch for the man of the house!!)
