Strides are one of the best auction houses in the country,great staff extremly helpful,i live on the isle of wight so cant view or pick up,i ask for descriptions of items and there aways 100% accurate,i get a courier to pick up my items,always arrives in perfect condition,so if you have any doubts you shouldent,only buy from the best that way youll know youll be treated extremly well,5 star all the way +++++

The whole team at Stride &Son Chichester were absolutely first class. We were buying and were shown properties in a very professional way - viewing appointments were easily and quickly fixed for us. Once our offer on a property was accepted Richard seemed to be the only person in the county who knew what was going on.
His diligence in keeping tabs on everything was so good - giving us regular and carefully considered reports on progress.
I cannot recommend this team too highly - their professionalism helped effect a quick sale and kept us sane. They work very well together and were always effortlessly helpful, charming and knowledgeable. We always felt centre stage in their considerations and were very well looked after.

As the buyer, I recognise Stride & Son is obliged to act for their primary client, the seller. This they did according to expectation, whilst providing a dynamic conduit for communication between buyer and seller. Our transaction was not altogether simple, but Tom Prower and his staff acted to the best of their ability to achieve a successful close. I would recommend Stride & Son to sellers of country homes.

Nah, don't bother with this lot. They speak like public school kids but will try and force a bad deal. They are all for gazumping as we were told by them. Do you home work at not bother with them.

We have sold 2 properties through Stride which belonged to my late parents in law. To say the sales were challenging doesn’t adequately reflect the scale of the complications which came at every turn. Throughout the entire 2 year process Tom has been unflappable, professional and unfailingly courteous to all the parties involved. He has had good relations with all the solicitors and chased when needed and he always provided good advice, bringing solutions to every set back.
Indeed, every person at Stride HQ has been willing to go the extra mile to get these properties sold so we can move on with our lives.
The auction department were also wonderful, helpful and efficient. Peter was a joy to deal with.
I can’t recommend them highly enough.
