Letting agents ( Chelsea and Lisa) are extremely helpful. They where amazing during the moving in process, letting us have an extra viewing to measure rooms. They have been very quick to fix any problems that have happened since we moved in. By far the best lettings agents I have used.

From start to finish, it been a walk in the park, from the viewing of the flat with Chelsea to sitting down in the office and going though all the detail with Lisa. I was able to look at the place and get in within a couple of weeks and I am so looking forward to my new flat. Thank you tersons for a everything and the two lady's for everything you did for me.

Completely useless when it comes to complaints about noisy and inconsiderate neighbours. They fob you off and can’t be bothered. Don’t waste your time and money renting anywhere with them!

Where do you begin with this diabolical company!
1. Service charge has more than tripled in 2 years since owning the leasehold of my flat. They claim this is is due to replacing the back door of the building. There are 16 units in my building, I was charged more than £800 for it, got a quote for the same door for £700 including install.
2. Contact - impossible to contact out of hours - I've had 2 leaks in the last year and no one answers the phone or returns calls.
3. Phone manner - if you ever get through to someone, it's always the wrong person and they refuse to help.
1 star is generous, would give negative if I could

We have just bought a house and Tersons were the agents ... From the moment we met Hayley she made it happen. Communication was fantastic and is key when buying a house and she just made us feel at ease. None of this rubbish you can get with some agents. If Hayley wasn't available Simon stepped in but knew exactly what was going on. We would definitely use them again and I would have absolutely no issue in recommending them. Thanks again for an amazing service really appreciate it and for going above and beyond even past completion. ????????

Tersons have recently just taken over from embassy management for managing the freehold of the building I live in. Since they have taken over I have called 5 times just to get my service charges sent over that were due nearly two months ago. They also didnt send out pending works to my correct details and until I started calling as I had never once had any communication from them and it turns out they weren’t sending it to the right email address. After a month and a half of hearing the same ‘we will call you back’ I asked for the complaints process to file one and I was just told to ‘send an email’. If you’re thinking of switching managing agents I’d be very weary, most of the ladies I’ve spoken to were lovely but Simon who is the only person that can apparently deal with my case has never once called me back.

We have rented out, and sold twice now with Tersons.
We couldn’t ask for a better estate agent on all fronts.
The management team for renting are friendly, approachable, honest and reliable. They don’t cost the earth and they really made renting so much more of an enjoyable experience for us than a previous agent did.
When it came to selling, again the team are friendly, approachable, honest and reliable. They sold both our properties on one view only each time!
Hayley is the BEST sales progressor in the game ! She kept both us and our buyers informed and was able to swiftly sort any questions or queries that she could to ensure the process was as painless as possible.
We would 100% use Tersons again, and for all-renting, buying and selling. It’s their honesty for us that makes them the best! Use them for your property needs and you won’t regret it!!

Can't beat a local independent. We're buying. With an overseas seller, and a wait for probate, they've worked really hard to get the sale through, and Hayley is also tireless in responding to checks and chasing progress. First agent I met in Dover almost 30 years ago and still the standout!

We've used Tersons to manage and rent a property and to market it for sale and both sides of the office have dedicated, friendly and down-to-earth staff. They arrange maintenance/cleaning contractors and have their own maintenance as well and rates are realistic and service is really unbeatable. They have managed to keep the property occupied and well looked after and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for both sales and lettings.

The best estate agent in Dover!
Purchased house that was listed with them, they couldn’t have been more helpful and responsive throughout the process.
Then sold this property with them. I can only rate this as 100% again - fantastic service from start to finish with both Simon and Hayley. Hayley was so quick to reply to everything and took the time to guide us through processes and speed things up where she could. Couldn’t ask for more!
Wouldn’t consider listing through anyone else in future. Fully recommended! ????

Really happy with our buying experience with Tersons. Our estate agent was Hayley and she was great from start to finish! This business is poorly run & in my opinion it is unprofessional even to the degree that when it has committed any wrong doing & swift action is required they tend to ignore its importance. I have experienced times where a response to a query has taken over a week to get resolved. If conducting business with this firm you might easily run the risk of having to unravel any mess it may cause , which indeed I myself have experienced with Tersons Dover office.

Avoid at all costs. Will happily take your money but trying to get them to do any actual work is impossible. Multiple phone calls and emails and a year later still nothing has been done. Absolute joke.

Rude, unprofessional and racist. Was once told by Lisa the nieghbours had rats because 'you know what foreigners are like'
Jim, the maintenance man, once let me into another tenants flat without their permission to show me a leak. I once rang to report my hot water not working. One of the ladies working there, lisa, suggested I showered round a friends house. Honestly would rather be homeless than deal with Tersons ever again.

A property i was renting at Victoria residence on Russell Street in dover was leaking massively, it rotted the timbers and put a kitchen sink size hole in the ceiling.
They colluded with the landlord to conceal the rot by patching the ceiling, then sent the property to auction, knowing it was rotten.
