For selling a property in the area we don’t feel we could receive any better service than we’ve received from Vince Taylor Tofts and its predecessors. We’ve just completed on our 4th house sale with them over the years and as many purchases, always with the same courtesy, good communication and attention detail. I would urge anyone selling in the locality and even further afield such as myself - it's not necessary to appoint a local high street agent - to choose Vince Taylor Tofts - it's a shame we can't clone and have a branch in every single town everywhere in the world! They are the best estate agent ever and other less salubrious agents would do well to take a leaf out of their very prestigious book. I love and was empowered by their ethos - they certainly practice what they preach and every single member of the dedicated and professional team - especially my favourite Chris - made the whole - bumpy at times - process run smoothly and were always there to guide and support me - metaphorically holding my hand all the way. I resented the fee paid to the estate agent who sold my previous property - Vince Taylor Tofts deserve every penny. And you will just adore their beautifully stylish & subtle For Sale (green), Sale Agreed (pink) & Sold (orange) illustrated bird signboards adorning your property - very eye-catching and attracted much kerbside interest. In the opinion of my wife and I, when it came to selecting the agency to deal with our house sale, there was only one choice which was Tayor Tofts (now Vince Taylor Tofts). We had met both Chris Tofts and Richard Taylor and from the onset, we were so impressed by their polite and professional manor. I walked through their front door, was made welcome, they acted with professionalism, they showed empathy to my unusual situation and dealt my problem immediately and with no financial reward. Then when my house was first on the market I had three appointments the next day, the house sold the following day and luck was on my side as they are the agents for a small estate in Uckfield, they whisked me up to see them and helped me through with the purchase. So within three days I had sold and purchased. Result! No Grief! All went through and they kept me informed as things progressed. First off, a caveat: I have not bought or sold many houses! however, of all the agents I have dealt with though two purchases, one sale and plenty of viewings, Dixon Vince have been by far the most impressive agents (they sold for me). They really could not have done more, they were extremely responsive and their small team is very well integrated, no call-centres, no explaining who you are time and time again. In an industry increasingly threatened by undercutting from online agents a local, independent agency presents a valuable and viable alternative. Absolutely felt like I was their client and they were acting on my behalf and in my interest. The advice was good, the photography and marketing was excellent (no fish-eye lenses here!) and the service was always courteous and personal. In summary I was impressed and in my opinion they earned every penny of their (competitive) fee.... Read more
