Thank you everyone at Oakfield (Heathfield branch) for guiding us so well through the selling of our house. It was reassuring to have an approachable team of people, led by Manager Rob Viles, who were really Interested in us and our house, thus making it a very personal experience. We had plenty of viewings, some accompanied by Isabelle or Jo, although they were mostly covered by Gwen McCowan whose expertise was obvious by the number of people who liked the house. The professional communication they sustained throughout the process was impressive from all members of staff. We unreservedly recommend them.

Rob came out to value our property with very little notice, he asked some general questions and listened to our views and what we were looking to achieve. The price he arrived at was a combination of experience and a significant amount of relevant data which backed up how he arrived at the value. The meeting was incredibly useful and the follow up report professional and comprehensive, I would have no hesitation in recommending Rob and the Oakfield team, really pleased.

Oakfield estate agents were new to me not having heard of them before but as soon as they arranged the first viewing I realised how good they were. I was lucky to be given Gwen who arranged our viewings with professionalism politeness friendliness and no undue pressure. She had all the facts at her fingertips and answered all our questions. I cannot praise her enough for everything she did and how she nurtured the deal of purchase of the house before and after the agreement was reached. I thoroughly recommend Oakfield but please ask for Gwen as she is the star of the show.

Hi this is feedback for Gwen McCowan who I saw on Saturday to see a house and bungalow, although I did not like either of the properties Gwen was very proficient and had details of both properties at the ready. Very professional and was able to give me details of both in great detail. I was very impressed

Oakfield handled my sale so well. They dealt with all the viewings. I didn't have to be home.
I had a buyer in no time. Communication was fantastic and they was always available to take my calls.
There had to be compromises with the completion date which did become complicated. Jo and Rob negotiated on my behalf and kept in constant touch with me and my solicitors. I would highly recommend them.

Who doesn’t have a horror story to tell about their house move? Mine was no different, total nightmare from start to finish. But the team at Rowland Gorringe were absolutely fantastic throughout. Keeping me informed, getting me the best value for my sale, trying to move the chain along when other people and solicitors were snoozing. The team are also just thoroughly nice people. I’m never moving again, ever, ever, ever, but if I did, I would want to go straight back to Rowland Gorringe Heathfield.

We recently completed on a move where the sellers agent was Rowland Gorringe and we have not been at all impressed with their work. When we first shown round the property we bought, the agent couldn't answer any of our questions about information regarding the property, none of which were unreasonable things to ask. She truly could only name which room we were standing in, which we could have figured out for ourselves.
Throughout the process we found the sales progression to be lacking, when we called the agent would struggle to know who we were, we would be told they only called their clients once a week so wouldn't pass on requests til the following week and even then when we called a week later there would be no progress. We also were told things that were needed were done when they weren't.
While I appreciate we were not Rowland Gorringe's clients, if we were and they had treated our buyer this way I would have been less than impressed given how much estate agents charge to do apparently, very little.

Sold and Purchased through the Heathfileld team completing the end of August just 6 weeks after putting our property on the market. Joe made an extremely good first impression on our first meeting when he came to carry out the appraisal on our property as did Sarah when showing us round the property we ended up purchasing. Although a very quick and smooth process Joe was on the ball throughout making sure things continued to run smoothly liasing with buyers, solicitors, developer etc as was Sarah. They are also keen to make sure everything runs smoothly following completion with the developer as we settle in. I have dealt with several estate agents in Heathfield over the years, but would most definitely recommend Rowland Gorringe as the estate agents to use!!!

Rowland Gorringe have been absolutely amazing supporting us through our first house buying process, from the initial viewing of properties to being there if we need them even now we're in our new home. Our estate agent Joe has been incredible at offering advice and answering our questions at all times, there wasn't anything that seemed like too much trouble (even if we did call almost daily asking about something!). Joe made sure that process all went smoothly, happened really quickly and he communicated with the sellers & both solicitors throughout. We honestly couldn't thank Joe and his team enough for making our first house purchase this easy and reassuring us the entire way.

I purchased my first property with Rowland Gorringe and all I can say is I have never dealt with such a helpful and great bunch! Joe and Paul helped me every step of the way, explained everything to me, kept me in the loop and went above and beyond to help me.
They were always available at the end of the phone or email if I had any questions and went the extra mile helping me outside of hours when really they didn't have to.
I cannot express how good their service was and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property in the Heathfield area.

As a retired solicitor I didn't think there was much left to surprise me in the property world - but I hadn't factored in this great firm of Estate Agents. An absolute breath of fresh air in the property market, none of that production-line style sale processing common with the big chain agents, but no cloying insincerity either, just honest, straightforward good old fashioned service but with a twist: Paul and his team go the extra mile in every respect and nothing was too much trouble. They secured a buyer immediately for my property and didn't rest until the sale went through. Don't bother shopping around for a better agent (you won't find one) or a better deal (their commission is more than reasonable). If you want to sell your property call Rowland Gorringe now.
