Overall, an experience that ended positively with Watson’s so would recommend but there are some lessons learnt which I hope they take on board to improve the customer experience.

From the start, I found them to be friendly and down to earth during the valuation and pictures being taken. Within less than 24 hours of it being on their social media channels, they rang me to advise of a viewing and to book it in with myself. I advised that I was not doing the viewings as it was agreed that Watson’s would be doing them, hence what I am paying them for. I also reminded them they had a set of my keys which were provided for that purpose. They advised that an estate agent wouldn’t be available for the next week so I would have to do it and that it was on their system that I had agreed to do viewings, not them which was not the case. I juggled my plans and did the viewing the next day. Thankfully I received my full asking price offer which I accepted. From this step, I hadn’t heard anything for a few weeks but when I checked with my solicitors, they had not received anything from my buyer’s solicitors. Watson’s were surprised and said they would do weekly calls. I thought Watson’s would have done a check after the first week so was a little disappointed, but was reassured this would be done weekly. Although the experience so far wasn’t great, as soon as I had been assigned to Leanne, she was fantastic, kept me regularly updated and worked incredibly hard until the end. If it wasn’t for her, I would not be rating Watson’s 4 stars.

Due to the shambles at the beginning and fact that I did the viewing myself which sealed the deal and managed to sell it without reaching the ‘full market’, I did hope that Watson’s might have given me a discount as I did their job for them, but hey ho, I might have to try my hand as an estate agent! To finish on a positive note, despite their errors, it definitely turned out to be a positive experience thanks to Leanne, so would recommend.

Got the asking price on my property within 24 hours! First class service, couldn't be more pleased with the results. Professional photographs, viewings arranged before it even hit the market and an offer of full asking price on the first day. Friendly and reliable staff who do all the chasing for you. Worth every penny of their fee.

Great service from start to finish, the team are friendly, professional and most of all caring. They keep you informed and are always to hand to answer any query either big or small.

Lovely local business, 5 stars for communication which I feel is imperative when selling/buying a house.  The phone was always answered, messages always passed on and always called back! I am living in Italy and instructed Watson Estate Agents with the sale of my Aunties property on her behalf. We were extremely pleased with their service selling her house within weeks for more then we were asking for.. I would give them a 5 Star plus.

Having purchased from Watson's before a few years ago I knew they were a reputable agency to deal with. My friends have also bought and sold property through them and had positive experiences.

With being the clear the market leaders in their patch of North/West Nottingham. When I came to sell my property in NG8 there was really only one choice. Especially after they promised to get £10k more than the other 2 agencies which had pitched for the sale contract. 

Within the first 3 days of marketing they secured 17 viewings of which 3 turned into offers. And good to their word, they were quality offers as well. One at asking price and 2 over asking price. 

The sale wasn't without it's challenges towards the end but majority of this was outside of Watson's direct control and I wouldn't have wanted to swap their professional team for anyone else. 

Despite the challenges bought by working with a skeleton team due to furloughing and social distancing measures as a response to CV19, Watson's managed to get the job done without any price reduction. So all in all a great result.

What a wonderful experience this has been. We were with a national estate agent for a few months and we hadn't had a single indication of any interest before we switched to Watsons. Then as soon as we switched we had a good number of people showing interest with three offers, and we have just completed the sale with the minimum of fuss. Brilliant service from Watsons estate agents, they sold our house within 2 weeks of it being on the market and found us a house that was exactly what we were looking for. I heard really good reviews about Watsons but initially I wasn't going to use them to sell my property as it was in Bulwell and I thought it would be best to use a more local agent who knows the area, but how wrong was I? Within 24 hours of signing the contract my house was on the market and it sold within a few weeks! I then found myself purchasing a property through Watsons. Watson have been fantastic, we had viewing from day one and sold our house in 3 days, we had complications with our buyer who eventually pulled out but Lucy handled  the whole situation fantastically and professionally, and we resold our house in 3 days. I choose Watsons to sell my bungalow and brought a cottage through them. I can not say absolutely nothing bad about this team. I was kept up to date on everything that was happening through out the whole process. They are like a family in there ( which they are ) and you can tell.  Even down to handing the keys in which I could not stop crying and I think they will always remember, they were all supportive and still are. The team at Watsons are very professional but with that very personal touch, which means a lot.

Do you really want to work with an estate agent that could possibly knock thousands off your house or you lose a purchase, because they possibly forget to tell buyers of deadlines?

Watsons neglected to tell me the final deadline for offers on a property. When I called to raise my offer I was told repeatedly that the deadline would have been made very clear to me, at no point did they even consider I was telling the truth. I was made to feel and treated like I was being dishonest. If I had left it at that I would not have been able to submit a final offer. Only after I had made a formal complaint was my final offer supposedly passed to the vendor. The communication from Watson’s has been littered with inaccuracies throughout the whole process. From the communication Watsons to myself I cannot be confident that the information supplied is accurate. 
But according to Watsons response I have been treated fairly. 

So treating someone fairly is: making them feel like and treated like they are being dishonest, only getting to submit a final offer after a formal complaint. 

Then told that it was just a miscommunication and they can understand why I feel I have been treated unfairly, implying that they treated me fairly and the it’s my feelings that are at fault.. 

The sad thing is most of these facts could have easily been checked easily. As something as critical as a deadline for final offers, and Watsons  rely on someone remembering to tell you. I truly feel for anyone who have to deal with these people.

I would absolutely recommend this lovely and caring estate agent to all.

My purchase was problematic due to no fault of their own and must have caused them a massive headache, however nothing was too much trouble for Lucy Attfield, who treated me with empathy and efficiency at all times.

Where do you start when looking for an agent to sell your house?
I looked at the web based agents which looked attractive based on the "No Commission" fees and just pay the flat rate.
Then again they get their money whether you find a buyer or not, they get their money for putting a board up and posting on the web sites.

I looked at those and was tempted, I then invited 3 agents around to see what their USP was.
Watson's were different from the rest, driven by a husband and wife team who's livelihood is invested in making yours and my house sale.
Because they had so much "skin in the game" I chose them. The photos taken by Sheree were fantastic, the support they offered was second to none and yes of course they found me a buyer at the price I wanted.
After I had accepted the offer they managed the sales process and as beforehand they went the extra mile.
