Recently sold our house through Webbs, within days of it being marketed by them
Pauline and Stuart were very professional/outstanding throughout and going above and beyond our expectations, always having our best interests at heart by taking the time to clearly answer/clarify any questions we may have had and keeping us regularly up to date, on how our sale was progressing.....(not once did we have to phone them asking for an update, even though fortunately it all progressed with minimal delays and with no problems whatsoever).
Superb 5* service all round, which many other larger corporate estate agency companies fall very short of.
For peace of mind and re-assurance, I would most definitely recommend Webbs, for their local knowledge, professionalism,friendliness and of course their longstanding/consistent reputation, in successfully selling properties.

Beware of these cowboys. When you make an offer on the agreed asking price a higher bidder will magically appear in an effort to force you to pay 10k plus over the asking price, and of course there's no evidence that the "other potential buyer " even exists...you've been warned....
In response to their reply, obviously my name is not "sugar plum" and that stunt you pulled is one of the oldest tricks in the book to squeeze more money out of the buyer. No integrity at all. Stay well clear of this lot if you dont want to be taken for a ride.

This sale came about as part of settling the Estate of a deceased family member. The agent and her team could not have been more helpful. As next of kin I had to manage the business of the sale from a distance; the agent went to particular trouble to ensure that I was supported and kept up to date. For example, the agent assisted in finding and arranging trustworthy local services for house clearance and gardening. They were even able to assist when the local solicitor tasked with acting as executor could not be found - the agent's contacts were able to help. Local knowledge, exemplary treatment, transparent practice and an inexhaustible willingness to leave nothing to chance made this a blue ribband service. Excellent.
