I am writing to formally complain about the unprofessional, nonchalant, and slow service I received from this estate agency. My experience with the team has been consistently disappointing, and I feel compelled to bring these issues to the public's attention.
Firstly, I have found it extremely difficult to get in touch with the office. Phone calls are rarely answered, and messages left are not returned in a timely manner. This lack of communication is highly frustrating and unprofessional.
On one occasion, I tried to arrange a second viewing of Rectory Farm and proposed several appointment options. However, none of these options were accommodated, which caused significant inconvenience. Additionally, during another viewing, the agent was extremely late and informed me only upon arrival that there was a different entrance to the property. This crucial information should have been communicated in advance to avoid confusion and wasted time.
The most disappointing incident occurred when I was trying to follow up on a property. Despite multiple attempts to reach the office, my calls were not returned. When I finally managed to speak with Izzie, I was informed that the property had been sold subject to contract, and there was no intention of further engagement on the matter. This lack of transparency and follow-up is unacceptable.
I hope they take this complaint seriously and address these issues promptly to improve on their service, for both buyers and vendors sake (especially for the vendor who is clearly receiving a substandard service).

We bought our house through Woodfords last year & can highly recommend their customer service, particularly Steve who went well above and beyond to ensure that we got our dream home. After we unfortunately lost our buyer, Woodfords handled the communication between our vendors with sensitivity and understanding, gaining us an extra couple of months' time to secure a new sale.
From the first viewing, Steve was friendly, down to earth and professional - at no point did he seem pushy, just had a genuine knowledge of the property, area and vendor - and seemed to understand how besotted we immediately were with the house.
We were thoroughly impressed with Woodfords throughout what was a very long & stressful emotional rollercoaster. We won't be moving house again if we can possibly help it, but if we did we would have no hesitation in using Woodfords for the sale.
Thank you - we hugely appreciate all that was done to get us into our dream home, we LOVE living here.

The whole team was superb both during purchase but impressively also after the exchange. It is the latter which in our view has separated Woodford from other agents we’ve used in the past. The Woodford team are locals, who know the area inside out. This is invaluable to home buyers new to the area looking to integrate into their new community. I rang up to inquire about moorings that was up for sale the advertisement was wrong which I would not have known this the gentleman I spoke with got annoyed about the advertisement and spoke to me terrible I told him this is not my fault and to speak to me properly the most unprofessional person awful was a cash buyer to. obviously they do not need clients.

We have now sold the rental property that Lynda has managed for 4 years for us. She really is excellent and methodical.Most agents try to get you to take any tenant, whereas Lynda makes you wait for the right one -well worth while. SHe oversaw repairs and gave great advice throughout the process. Her sales team did well too. Thank you all at Woodfords.

Worst estate agents ever from a tenants perspective. Feel very sorry for the land lord wasting his money using them. Over 4 weeks to return our deposit while house is in emaculate condition. 2 days into living in the property when a door handle fell off and never did they come to fix it after being notifed. Trying to claim this back from our deposit. Leaking boiler we told them about which led to bedsheets, swimming costume and towels ruined with no compensation just trying to claim money from our deposit. Would never recommend to anyone.
