Horrible time with this company. After being rushed into a flat (i told them i was happy to wait but was told "this would be an issue") i discovered how unclean and poor the accommodation was. These images were after hours of cleaning when i finally gave up (can see the filth on the sponge). Dirt, dust, hair, stains everywhere)
Long story short, i ended tenancy and even though i never moved in was still charged 2 weeks rent and also waited over a month for my deposit (which wasn't put into a deposit scheme) and excess rent to be payed back. I was also told the accommodation was fine but after my tenancy was ended it was back on market with new carpets and totally renovated.
If you are thinking of using this company for renting I'd advise against it.

As a first time buyer, I wasn't quite aware of the intricacies of home-buying in the UK. Both Lynsey A and Irene L from the Hamilton branch of Your Move were wonderful right from the start. They could not have been more helpful, from my initial interest in the property, right up to receiving the keys. I was shown the property by Kirsty who I was initially dealing with. I found her to be very personable, professional and extremely responsive and timely when dealing with email and phone communications.
Closer to the move date, I was kept up to speed by the remarkably able and friendly Aaron Bains. Aaron without doubt went the extra mile when dealing with a tight deadline, without which I’m unsure if I would have managed! He kept me updated constantly and was most reassuring and honest throughout the whole process. He was genuine and his people skills are second to none.

Communication has been great by Aaron constantly updating us throughout the process with great knowledge and advice. We were told that the property would be let by the end of the month which they delivered their promise. Great service and couldn’t recommend them enough.

Poor service for ourselves renting a property through Your Move, every time a conflict came up they took the stance of the Landlord and ignored the facts, charging for damaged items which had been recorded on the inventory as being damaged when we moved in, and even charging us as tenants for items which were not even on the inventory as damaged. The Tenancy Deposit Scheme in Scotland was not in force when tenancy commenced therefore no way to dispute matters.

This malevolent and disingenuous business is a disgraceful embarrassment due to their deeming it appropriate and acceptable to, as part of their standard business practice, actively engage in unsolicited communications in multiple forms.
Further added to their disgraceful unsolicited communications are their absurd claims of having "a full database of tenants looking for a property that matches your description". Such statement is ludicrous and unquantifiable and designed to intentionally mislead. No such thing as a "full database" exists and any alleged fullness is subjective perception as opposed to quantifiable facts of reality.
Equally, to aver that such alleged "full database" has "tenants looking for a property that matches your description" is another intentionally misleading fallacy purported by the rogues of this business for the sole purpose of implying that this malevolent business has a large list of tenants contained in their "full database" that are actively waiting or wanting to move into a property that matches the description. The absurdity of this proposition is nonsense despite it being worded in a fallacious and intentionally misleading way.
If this malevolent business believes their unsolicited drivel is acceptable then it is suggested that this business is wholly unfit for purpose and if you have an asset requiring looked after, take your business anywhere but here.
There are significant number of letting agent business locally who do not engage in the same unsolicited actions, therefore stay clear of this place if you value your asset.

Absolute worst company I have ever leased my house with.
The customer service from the branch staff through to the customer care team are a disgrace.
Recently this "company" allowed a tenant to destroy furniture and belongings in a fully furnished property and have completely washed there hands of any wrong doing or compensation.
Elaine at the branch is useless I have asked her on 4 different occasions to forward on a valuation of the house that was completed and I am still waiting on it. Just want to sell the house now because leasing the property is such a chore with this company. The monthly payment from them is supposed to go in on the 14th, it's now the 16th and there is still no sign of it, hopefully it goes in before our mortgage is due out but with YourMove I don't hold out much hope.
When I initially raised the complaint I received an email back from Marion Hunter who is the area sales manager, I think she might be a robot because she just copies and pastes her generic response no matter how much you try and explain your concerns.
After giving up with Marion, I have since been dealing with Brian Moran, the area lettings director of Scotland and he has promised I will see this valuation soon, let's hope he is not as useless as his staff. I have only asked for it to be emailed, surely can't take that long.
All in all, I would advise going with anyone other than YourMove, there are plenty estate agents in the area. Save yourself the hassle.
