Blake Stanley charges illegal fees to incoming tenants. If you are a landlord, I would implore you to consider using a property manager that respects tenants rights and doesn’t squeeze them every tenancy renewal for fees that they know are illegal - they strong arm tenants into paying them anyways as they know the process is complicated to contest. Context: I received a decision today from the First Tier tribunal Property Chamber (residential property) ordering Blake Stanley to refund the £64 charged. This was charged under the auspices of a “change of tenant”, but there was no change of tenancy when a 12 month agreement comes to a close and new tenants move in! I know this seems like a small amount of money, but consider that they pressure every tenant of every property they manage, anytime a contract renews to pay this. It’s illegal for citizens to steal from businesses, so please let’s not allow shady, fraudulent and immoral businesses like Blake Stanley steal from us. For other tenants that BlakeStanley has stolen from, please consider reporting them to the First Tier Tribunal and get your money rightfully returned.... Read more

Would leave 0/5 but it’s not allowed… Worst estate agents I have dealt with in London - they have neglected serious health and safety hazards within our flat which they simply forgot to do a check out report on…. I would be extremely cautious of dealing with anyone within this business!... Read more

In my 10 years of being a landlord of multiple properties, this experience broke me. Read the reviews and believe them. When issues arise and you want a managing agent, who you are paying extra to oversee your property, to step up... Blake Stanley take a firm break. Expect nothing until you start the official complaints process. Only then, expect terse, sarcastic responses not from management, but from the same exact people who failed you initially. That's fun. They do not take action, they do not fight for your rights and they are vile to deal with. Hard pass.... Read more
