I bought my first flat through Blake Stanley and thought they were lovely. Non shark like.
When I was selling my home end of 2023, with the market being bad I approached Flyp who tender the sale out to several estate agents. I asked Flyp to specifically reach out to Blake Stanley, as they had good local knowledge and I thought trustworthy.
Each estate agent approached by Flyp have a choice as to whether they want to work in this way. Blake Stanley accepted the contract with Flyp but massively undervalued my home (valued it £85k less than it actually sold for, which was the price they had sold a property on the same street in 2018. Not only had property prices increased massively since their 2018 sale, my property was semi detached and had a full refurb). Ultimately did no work. Instead they lurked on the Flyp portal to see what my place would sell for. My place sold within the week. Immediately after my place sold, they listed a property on my street for £125k more than they valued my property with exactly the same sqm. Please note they never came to even look at my property.
My belief is they never had any intention of trying to sell my property but are using Flyp as another means of market research.
The whole situation was distasteful. When I saw what Blake Stanley valued my place at, I told Flyp to remove them. Unfortunately they didn't.

Initial Review:
Our experience with George T Ioannou and Nathan Arnold at Blakestanley was great. George was very helpful at the property inspection, providing insight and advice about the area, the property itself and the specific tenants that the landlord was hoping to secure. We completed our application process with Nathan, who was very professional and guided us through each stage. As we are newly moved to the UK, we had a lot of questions about the rental market and associated processes here and Nathan was more than happy to assist. Further, he was very prompt in communications, something we appreciated.
As long-term renters, it is always a pleasure to deal with property managers and lettings teams that are prompt, professional and respectful.

I rented out my flat and had it manged by Blake Stanley for 18 months from April 2022 and unfortunately never felt confident they were managing it professionally. I always had to chase up on emails and felt like I was managing it myself most of the time. I have now left Blake Stanley and renting my flat out with another agent. Sadly I cannot recommend them any longer which is a shame because my last experience of them, when they first opened, was great.
