In fairness to B&A and as an upfront statement we pulled our property off the market because we didn't have any success in finding a replacement property and we did not like the state of the overheated, overpriced market early 2021. We also had to disappoint a potential buyer when we decided not to sell. Burnapp and Abel were a good company of choice. The two directors both visited at different times and they were friendly and informative. However were were not impressed with certain office staff, who, when we advised the town office we were taking the property off the market stated that we were going to lose the potential buyer £25000 because they would lose the advantage of the Covid19 stamp duty holiday. Very unprofessional and not our concern. It seemed that the potential buyers interests were more important than ours....as the fee paying client. Overall, but for that stumble, B&A were fine and if the requirement to place our property arises in the future then they would receive our consideration again for marketing. The starred fields are not all relevant with no option for not applicable. Won't submit with zero in fee amount so have put £1.... Read more

Was not impressed with them at all. Our valuations with 3 estate agents were £230,00to £249,000 and they put our house up for £220’000. We needed £225,000 minimum in order to sell but because they put lower price on listing we were only getting buyers who couldn’t afford our house price? Also, felt they were not interested very much in our cheap property but only in those more up market expensive ones. Feel we wasted our time with them. Never called us unless they had a viewing and would go weeks without even a courtesy call.... Read more

Just sold and purchased via Burnap + Abel and can't fault them one bit. Communication was fantastic, Charlotte was always on top of everything and chasing solicitors. Always a friendly voice at the end of the phone if we ever needed to find anything out. When they came round to value we could tell they were different from other Estate Agents. Plain speaking and not pushy at all. I remember the parting comment of "Unlike other EA's, we won't pester you and bombard you with calls to sign up with us, however should you choose to do so, we will always be at the end of the phone for you'. How right they were! I would highly recommend them to everyone - The amount of Burnap + Abel signs you see around the area clearly shows how popular they are.... Read more

Got the keys for my flat today. Throughout the process, despite some delays, I was kept informed, with quick responses to my queries. Special mention to Charlotte who was the go between for the parties involved, she made the process not so daunting for a first time buyer.... Read more

Amazing customer service. We purchased a property through their website, and it didn’t matter that we had no fees to pay. We were updated throughout the process and nothing was too much trouble. Sales Negotiator Charlotte, deserves a special mention, always professional and even making enquires for us on her days off, brilliant!!!... Read more
