Avoid Fletchers – Total Failure of Service and Negligence I am writing this review to warn other local landlords about the shocking lack of professional integrity, systemic incompetence, and security failures I experienced over a 16-month period with the Brooke Green and Chiswick branches of Fletchers. From the very first week of the tenancy in May 2025, the administration was completely shambolic. They bungled the legal contracts by omitting a legal owner, failed to set up requested rent payment dates, and delayed our initial rent payment. It required my constant intervention to manage my own flat while being charged high commission fees. The level of negligence escalated to severe property security violations. During the viewing stage, Fletchers staff left my balcony doors completely unlocked and unsecured. Furthermore, the branch completely failed to pass my detailed 'How the Flat Works' safety notes to the tenants, leaving them physically unable to lock the front door multi-point deadbolts properly—compromising the security of the property. To cap it off, when the tenancy concluded, the branch manager actively misled the tenants in writing, claiming he was 'in discussions with the landlord' to transfer their deposit to me, in an apparent attempt to hold a tenant's undisputed deposit hostage over a separate commercial fee dispute. The Managing Director has completely defended this behavior as 'standard operating procedure.' This matter is now being formally escalated to The Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards for independent arbitration. If you value your property's security, your time, and your tenants' safety, look elsewhere.... Read more

Excellent flat sale and support. We put my partner’s flat for sale with Fletchers after almost a year of it being listed with another agent with little interest. Within a week of it being with Fletchers we had an offer at full asking price. Throughout the process of sale Emma provided excellent support. We've just exchanged with Fletchers, the sales team were excellent. They sold our maisonette after 1st day of viewings with 3 offers above asking. Unfortunately it fell through and upon going back to market, they then sold it again within the first week with another 3 offers. Only criticism would be the after sales service, this should have been better on the first sale. That said, they took the feedback and massively improved it 2nd time round.
