I am currently viewing properties to purchase my first home and i’d just like to say what a help Hills estate agents has been, i’d like to mention Jack as he has been so helpful at finding the right properties for me and due to being a first time buyer his knowledge has been such a big help!!!!

Very disappointing letting property management.<br><br>We used Hills to manage our property for 13 months and ultimately left due to repeated communication issues, mistakes and a lack of proactive management.<br><br>The most concerning example was a legally required gas safety check which was not completed and was approaching its deadline. We only became aware of the issue and got it resolved because we chased Hills about it. They subsequently acknowledged the mistake and apologised.<br><br>As landlords living overseas, we appointed a professional agent so we could trust that our property and compliance requirements were being properly managed without having to constantly monitor them ourselves.<br><br>Unfortunately, this was part of a wider pattern of having to chase for updates and pick up issues ourselves. After 13 months, we no longer had confidence in the service and moved to another agent.<br><br>Based on our experience, we would not use Hills again.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Taylor and the team enough! They helped us sell our house in just one week and, even more importantly, helped us find a house that we absolutely love and can now call our forever home. ????????<br><br>The whole process could have been stressful, but Taylor was so helpful, professional and supportive throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt like we were in safe hands.<br><br>Thank you so much, Taylor, for helping us start such an exciting new chapter in our lives! Jack was responsive throughout the purchase of my property and, whenever I contacted him, he helped move matters forward. He also remained helpful after completion when I needed further information about the property. His communication style could sometimes feel quite abrupt, and some early paperwork needed correcting, but overall he was effective and helped bring the purchase to completion. The Prosecco and card when I collected the keys were also a lovely and thoughtful touch!

Our experience with your company has been extremely disappointing. The behaviour of Jack and Chris was rude, dismissive and demeaning. Their approach made it clear that they had little interest in cooperating with prospective buyers or communicating in a professional and respectful manner.<br><br>In addition, we found that some of your property listings did not accurately reflect the information being presented on the property platforms, creating unnecessary confusion and wasting our time.<br><br>As the agency that describes itself as the “number one estate agent in Manchester”, I would suggest that greater emphasis is placed on customer service and communication. Buyers and sellers alike deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, without passive-aggressive or dismissive interactions. Our experience fell well below the standard we would expect from a professional estate agency.

Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!!
I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster.
There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket.
The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable.
Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online.
I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit.
If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!
