Initially I was really happy with the service the Lettings team provided, well actually, just Tony. I negotiated a reduced price for finding tenants thou what I wasnt told at this point is this would result in a very poor after sales service. The final tenant moved in a month ago and I am still waiting for the meter readings for four apartments plus some unsigned documentation, now waiting for a copy of thier complaints procedure. My advice....AVOID if you want a complete professional service.

Brilliant all the way to be honest. I dealt mainly with Ryan. He communicated well, kept me informed at all the important points.
I felt like the agency was on my side to get the best price.
The advert and social media posts were spot on.
This is the first house I've sold and the service from Hills in Eccles was fantastic.

Hills Estate agents have been really helpful from start to finish. Always friendly but professional. The agents that took the viewings were all mindful of being covid safe. Photos and video were excellent. Always kept up to date and received feedback. Had a steady stream of viewings. Really happy with the whole experience.

Not the best experience to be honest they just didn’t seem to know what they were doing ! They have sold lots of houses in this area and I can only think they didn’t like me personally as they did nothing for us at all the viewings were supposed to be accompanied they weren’t they let people just wander through my house they could have stolen anything they were just useless I’m afraid I am sure other people will have had a good experience using them but I cannot recommend them in any way at all !!!

I dealt with this agency professionally in 2014 when they sold a property for me and in 2016 and yesterday when they valued properties for me and gave me options on what to do with these properties.

We recently bought a house from a vendor using Hills Residential. Leah from the Eccles branch dealt with the sale and we were happy she did. Leah's communication was great, which I think really helped keep the process moving in the right direction and at a good pace. We found Hills to be accommodating when it came to viewings and Leah in particular acted as a good 'go between' for us (as buyers) and the vendors. To top it off, we were loving the welcome pack with branded Hills merchandise that we got when we moved in, ha! That bright yellow umbrella has saved me several times this 'summer'. Our experience of buying from Hills has meant we would seriously considering using them to sell in the future.

I have let my own property and rented from this company for years, I would never use a different agent, the full lettings team are amazing from every angle, nothing is a problem and they cater to every need of landlords and tenants, I would recommended highly to anyone looking for a letting agents in Manchester they found me an amazing long term tenant.

The company is a fraud and rip off. Took £250 saying its for taking property off market. Later they refused the application and never gave the money back. Never was told this money is for application and non refundable. I'll be taking them to court god knows how many people they have ripped off like this.
Update from today. The director Mr. Tony calls me and threatens me that if I don't remove this review he will black list me apparenlty.

Ever since Martin valued and measured our home to the final viewing with Charlotte on our new home and the many phone calls, Hills have done themselves proud and made the whole buying and selling process a stress free experience. We bought AND sold our house with Hills... both times they were fantastic!
Charlotte Parks is great, she handled our sale really well. We paid an upfront fee for the sale of our house, and it was worth every penny! You would expect paying up front means less motivation from the estate agent, and we needed a quick sale, so I was worried about this.
We had around 20 viewings in 2 weeks, and around 4-5 offers. Each viewer was assessed beforehand to make sure they could buy. The only negative was that we felt the 'group' viewings don't work - most offers came from individual viewings.
However, we got our asking price, and the buyers were lovely people as well. From price to completion, ourselves, the buyers and Hills worked as a team to make sure the solicitors were kept on top of. No hiccups and 11 weeks later house was completed.
We bought our house 3.5 years ago and only wanted to move because of relocating the family.
The annoying thing was that the house we bought, the estate agents were AWFUL, and the seller would have paid almost 3 times as much - Hills were worth what we paid and more and couldn't be happier, thank you guys!

Unfortunately couldn't recommend, no evening viewings, I was told the office closes at 5.30pm and people could have time off work if they wish to view a house. Weekend viewing is booked up 2 weeks in advance. I wouldn't have thought this was useful to vendors or prospective buyers. In a competitive market I would expect better customer service. If I was a manager with this company I would be making changes

Leah has been great to deal with and, having interacted with other members of staff from time to time, everybody at the Eccles office has been brilliant. Really quick response times, always a friendly manner and fab at letting me know about new properties when I was looking. Find them very inefficient and ignorant. At the very first time they were helpful when wanted to view a property. Then newsletters were coming along with all sort of shabby, horrible looking photos, so I asked to be removed from the mailing list. I was however still heavily searched for properties, but every time I called in for arranging a viewing, they kept coming up with all sort of excuses and told me lies - claiming that they "did not know this or that"... On the last occasion I wanted to make an offer on a property, but needed viewing first, however they have not been bothered to sort this out with the owner, so the property was "sold" to someone else, however it is still listed on two major websites... Very unprofessional, nasty company!

Hills Residential are probably one of the best companies I have ever dealt with! I expect a good level of service but they went above and beyond this. I had a particularly difficult sale and this is when you find out whether you have chosen a decent estate agent. Any agent can market a property and get a couple of offers in the current climate but it's when things start to go wrong or time drags on that you want a company that will go that extra mile! Jack in the Eccles office was outstanding, his patience with me and the situation was that of a Saint some days. I'm not one for leaving reviews but my experience has been that good I really wanted to say thank you and let other people know.

Having contacted Hills on numerous occasions, I can state - with indubitable certainly - the team are an absolute pleasure to deal with.
From the minute of registering at the company you are valued as a customer, and given that personal touch which is without question lacking with other local agents.
Jack Murray was my point of contact throughout, and I was certainly glad of that. He made sure viewings were arranged at a time convenient for myself, called back when he stated he would, and responded quickly to any other queries or needs I had. Not only did Jack keep to his word (which is a rarity with most Agents, I have had so many bad experiences with others locally) he was always prepared to go that extra mile to help out; conducting late viewings, offered a thorough, detailed explanation of the sale procedure, guiding me through the process, in going above and over with his time, effort, and experience, to name a few examples.
As a buyer, if the team are prepared to put in as much effort, care, and attention into ensuring good buyers are regularly kept up to date with new properties, and advancements, I would suggest potential sellers out there give Hills a call. Jack (and the other team members I spoke to) showed a refreshing approach that I can only be grateful for, and praise. With every other Agent it is difficult to see how you aren't just a number; whereas at Hills you're given a personable and premium service throughout.
Overall, I would recommend Hills with no hesitation. The professionalism, attention to detail, and care they display to their customers is unprecedented. Hills definitely go a huge way to restoring people's faith in Estate Agents, and aligning the common misconception.

Hills have been very professional throughout our selling process. It has been a long and challenging sale but the team at Hills have been great at keeping us informed, chasing dreadful solicitors and keeping things moving when there have been problems.
I have no hesitation in recommending them to sell your home and although I never want to move again after all this, I would definitely use them again if I had to!

Unless you want to be lied to, deceived and ripped off then I would completely avoid this company. They never answer their calls and when they eventually do get back to you they lie about offers that they have had on a property to deceive you into buying a property at a higher price. This was proved when my partner put in an offer for a house to which the estate agent told him there had already been 3 other offers at higher prices, my mother then contacted them the next day and asked about the house and they stated that they had only had one offer on the house (my partner's!!) thus proving them liars! there's absolutely no customer care here it is literally all about them getting as much money out of you as they can! I'd go with Bridgefords if I were you, at least they answer the phone.
