Listing stated private balcony, it was not. Agent couldn't have cared less when I told them. Totally unprofessional and false advertising of property. After a long process and having made an offer which was accepted I feel like my time has been wasted and not even so much as an apology for the clear false information.

I have NEVER experienced such utter incompetence in my entire life. As a tenant, the property inventory was not done correctly and we were allowed to move into a property with no hot water or heating, a week later this was only partially sorted. Our bank details have been lost twice, personal details have been confused with other tenants, and the company has withheld a rent refund from the landlord on account of their 'phone lines not working to process online banking.' I have escalated my issues with Hills to at least one regulatory body as well as Trading Standards. Use at your own peril either as a tenant or a landlord.

Overall my experience with Hills was good. I had one bad experience when viewing a property, where the estate agent was rude. I also find that when viewing properties with Hills, the estate agents do not show you around the property. They leave you to look around yourself, I found this unhelpful as i am a first time buyer and I would have appreciated it if the estate agent showed me around and gave me some more information about the property. In conclusion I would use Hills in the future if I ever had a need as they are very efficient when it comes to booking in viewings.

Im a landlord that chose, fully managed with them about 6 months.
Still chasing them to do the first quartley check.
I had to inform them, my tenant hadn't paid their rent for two whole months.
Has only ever called me back once, even though every phone calls end with a promise to get back in touch.
Awful customer service all around and wouldn't recommend.

They're good. Really good. Honestly, I can't fault them.

Things started, as they usually do, with a viewing where we got plenty of time to look around the house, meet the agent, talk to the vendor and so on. After that we went to the office and were offered a drink, and had a sit down meeting with their mortgage adviser who was extremely knowledgeable and spent over an hour explaining everything to us in a way we could understand. Things felt good and we moved forward.

About two months into the process our conveyancing began to hit problems. Nothing to do with Hills, and too complicated to go into here. The point is, Hills were there for us throughout.

The level and standard of communication was exceptionally good. I think the longest I had to wait to get through to a a human when calling up was about 10 seconds, and I was usually through to our property consultant (Lauren) in less than a minute. If they weren't available I was always given the option to leave a message, stay on hold, or get a call back, and even then I didn't have to wait long before I got what I needed.

The last month, seven months into the purchase, was absolute hell. This could quite easily have been made orders of magnitude more frustrating if it weren't for the staff at Hills. Solicitors were chased by email and phone almost daily at times and the Hills staff were always calm, always pleasant, and took their time to listen and understand the issues.

After we withdrew from the purchase there was no sudden change of attitude, no silence, no pushy sales tactics. Just the same level of service, an expression of good wishes, and an offer to help if there was any further assistance we needed.

These guys are seriously, seriously good, and I'd go back to them any day.

Not the best experience to be honest they just didn’t seem to know what they were doing ! They have sold lots of houses in this area and I can only think they didn’t like me personally as they did nothing for us at all the viewings were supposed to be accompanied they weren’t they let people just wander through my house they could have stolen anything they were just useless I’m afraid I am sure other people will have had a good experience using them but I cannot recommend them in any way at all !!!

I dealt with this agency professionally in 2014 when they sold a property for me and in 2016 and yesterday when they valued properties for me and gave me options on what to do with these properties.
