We recently found our first rental flat with Horton and Garton. We had heard no end of horror stories about the London rental market - but our experience couldn't have been further from that with Horton and Garton! The wonderful Alliyah helped my parter and I find a great place (and move in! ) in a matter of weeks and the process was smooth from start to finish. We couldn't be happier and would recommend their services to anyone.

The great tenants that Horton & Garton found for me moved out recently after nearly 3 years. Aggie went about looking for new ones and suggested a more adventurous price (which I thought was rather optimistic). Within just hours they were booking in viewings and although the rental market has settled down a bit recently, secured me two asking price offers within the week.
However, due to family issues, I was forced to withdraw the property from the market and left Aggie to break the news to the potential tenants.
Aggie was uber understanding and gracious about the situation, although I felt awful for wasting their time, hard work and expected fees.
Aggie and her team were relentless in their pursuit of finding great tenants, whilst exercising the highest degree of professionalism, diligence and charm.
Of course I’ll be calling H & G as soon as the flat is ready to market again and wish to thank Aggie and her terrific team for all their help and understanding.

Shiyane at Horton & Garton has been such a fantastic real estate agent from the very beginning and was a great help to us in finding a rental property. She went above and beyond to accommodate meeting us after work to view properties that we had requested and also suggested others in our price range. She has been a total delight to deal with, always extremely professional, happy, friendly and on time. She also always confirmed the viewings in advance and responded to our emails quickly, just amazing service. We would definitely recommend her to any friends or family looking for a property in the area!

Edit: No, John, I was going to leave it at one star and spare you the embarrassment of going into detail because I don't have the time or emotional energy to chronicle the long laundry list of my horrible experiences with your lack of leadership over your employees. I won't be contacting you directly because I did countless times previously and you ignored me every single time.
To everyone else: Avoid this horribly mismanaged company. I usually want to support small, local businesses, but my interactions with multiple members of Horton and Garton's untrained staff were a nightmare. I went to John multiple times for help and he did absolutely nothing. Go instead with a larger, more established and professional company.

We found our new rental flat through Horton and Garton. The service provided by Fahim was really good from the initial contact up to us signing the lease. Fahim was always available and quick to answer any of our questions/queries. He even allow us to do a second viewing of the property which was most appreciated.
The whole process once our offer got accepted to the move in was very smooth as well.
We have now been in the property for more than a month and again, the service provided by Horton and Garton (who manage the property) has been really good!

We just finished working with Louise Jones and her team (primarily Michelle and Laura) on the sale of our terraced house in Chiswick. We interviewed a lot of local agencies, and we can confidently say that we really made the right decision— they were simply incredible.
We were moving abroad on a tight timeline and were by no means the easiest clients; and we had quite a lot of other factors that had to be taken into account. Louise’s valuation of the house was exponentially higher than other firms and because Horton & Garton worked to identify the right kinds of buyers, we had three offers (two well over ask) within three days of being on the market.
H&G treat each property as a bespoke sale and it really shows— not to mention the fact that they’re really communicative, friendly and warm people; just an all around pleasure to work with. Louise had previously set the record price for a terraced house on our street last year when she sold our neighbour's house— and now she’s broken her own record!
