John and his team are an amazing bunch of professionals! They guide us through a difficult process of decision making. Everybody involved shared their in-depth knowledge of the area and sale process. That allowed us to make all the right decisions. Due to the situation we were in, the sale process was lengthy. None of that made Horton & Garton team work any less. First sale fell through (due to circumstances out of our control). The Team found the second buyer promptly. House was sold for almost 12% more than the first buyer’s offer and almost 19% more than the asking price! Tremendous success! Matthew Clarke at Horton and Garton was truly amazing to work with on our first property purchase, we really couldn’t have asked for anyone better.
Matthew was constantly on the ball, chasing the seller’s and (frustratingly) our own solicitors to keep the sale moving. We are fully convinced that our purchase would not have completed before our hard deadline without Matthew in our corner.

We cannot recommend John and his team at Horton & Garton highly enough. There is seriously no need to look for another agency to sell your property through if you are in the Hammersmith/Brackenbury Village/ Chiswick area. From the moment we first met John, to value the flat, through the whole process, everything has run like clockwork- and honestly, I have bought and sold enough properties in my time to know that this is not normally the case!
Our “special agent” Matt has been like a knowledgeable friend, as has “young” George who also showed prospective purchasers around.
Matt has only chosen potential buyers, not time-wasters…he has matched the clients to the property with extreme skill.
We have all kept in touch with each other in real-time via a WhatsApp group…incredibly useful!!
Feedback has been immediate and incredibly useful.
Together we have all worked as a well-oiled team…and the property has sold without hitch.
