We had a fantastic experience working with Tom throughout our purchase. From start to finish, he was proactive, responsive and incredibly supportive — especially given how complex our chain was with a linked sale, company purchase and tight timelines.
Tom kept things moving when others slowed down, communicated clearly at every stage and was always available to step in and unblock issues when needed. It genuinely felt like he was invested in getting the deal over the line, not just progressing it.
What stood out most was his persistence and calm approach under pressure — nothing ever felt too much trouble, and he handled a pretty intense process with real professionalism.
Would highly recommend Tom to anyone buying or selling — exactly the kind of agent you want in your corner when things get challenging.

Having used John Hilton for previous property sales/purchases we were confident in signing with them for our most recent move. We were not disappointed and despite the difficult current conditions we achieved a sale within a week of initial marketing. Sadly the kind of complications that are all too common in the current market meant that this fell through, but were delighted when our agent Tom managed to find another buyer within a week or two. He has been responsive and active throughout the process, stepping in to offer helpful advice, recommendations for tradespeople to price work for our potential property purchase, or chasing agents and solicitors to ensure the transaction was completed on schedule.

A Great Trustworthy Estate Agent
Simon and the entire team at John Hilton in Rottingdean were excellent when it came to selling our house and the onward purchase. Very professional and excellent advice all through the process.
