After a not-so-great experience with another agent we decided to cut our losses and go with Lesley Hooks. Victoria came to value the house and I really rate her, she oozes competence. Selling our late parents' house was dealt with so professionally, we were amazed at the difference with this estate agent. The staff really know what they are doing. Yvonne was amazing at getting the right offers from potential buyers and Jake was highly able, efficient and reassuring through the process of selling. Whatever happened, the staff were immediately on it, they were so attentive. We are grateful to Claire and Rachel too.

As a first time buyer, the team made me feel at ease with the whole process from start to finish. From the first time I booked a viewing (I viewed quite a few, too!) to completion, every person I spoke to was so helpful. Kept informed of everything throughout and nothing was too much trouble. If I ever come to sell in the future, I know where I’ll be coming. Thanks to all the team!

We approached this company when looking to sell our house, and as first-time sellers we had absolutely no experience of the process. Michael Hooks came out to see us very quickly and spent a great deal of time sitting down with me and my wife, explaining everything in detail — from the full selling process and next steps, to advice on how best to prepare the house before valuation photos and viewings. It immediately made what felt like a daunting experience much easier and less stressful.
Once we decided to go ahead with them, the communication from day one was excellent. They were always available to answer questions and gave us great advice throughout, including helping us prepare the house for viewings. Our house sold quickly at the asking price, and what really stood out was that they continued to help beyond just the sale itself — even offering negotiation advice and things to look out for on the property we were purchasing, despite that purchase not being through them.
A genuinely professional, knowledgeable, and very well-run family business that clearly cares about its clients. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends.

I had initially approached Lesley Hooks when looking for my first house having heard really positive feedback from family members & friends.
The team were nothing but polite and efficient with finding me my first home. I felt they really took on board what I wanted in my home and also helped me to understand the process with trust, which i found extremely beneficial as a first time buyer and not knowing much about the whole process.
I honestly could not recommend Lesley Hooks and the team enough!

Absolutely useless, incompetent and I am not even sure they have anyone working for them. Emails and applications go ignored. Common courtesy is to actually inform potential renters whether they are successful or not. Or even a sorry the multiple houses you have applied for are now gone. Will not be applying for any properties on your website again
