The service received from Signature was so poor it actually made the termination fee feel like the best money I've ever spent. I want to clarify they get one star simply my, because there's not an option to rate zero. One star in this context is actually kind. Sadly this has been the poorest, most disappointing service I've ever experienced.... To say they are unprofessional would actually be an understatement for the mess that this agency was to us. I will start by saying that the only thing they've actually done was to come put a sign up, take photos of the property and list it on the internet (so let's say the one star is for that) We put our house up for sale with Signature mid September 2025. We had a total of 4 viewings (FOUR) between September 2025 and Feb 2026 when we terminated the contract. The mortgage rates dropped once or twice in this time. They were not present for any of the viewings, the feedback received from all 4 viewings was not related to the asking price on the house. We emailed them at the begining of December and then again after Christmas and heard exactly nothing back. This was to inform them on our decision to end our agreement and move on. We'd already flagged the lack of viewings. We rang them begining of January (about 2nd week into Jan) to be told that actually the person who was dealing with our sale had left! They did not bother letting us know and had we not chased them we would have been none the wiser. Whoever my partner spoke to that day said they were catching up and will phone us back over the next couple days. The following week we hadn't heard back so we rang back to be told that this X person was in charge of our sale but she wasn't in and no one else could talk to us, not even the manager. We were told she would call back the next day. Next day came and went without a phone call of course. So the day after we rang back to be told the person was actually off sick in the days before, but she would call back in the next 30 min (this phonecall took place at 10am). At 4:30 pm we got a call back to be told that we needed to lower the price on the house. This bit I actually still find funny. I do not recommend them!... Read more

Diabolical Estate Agent to allow and partake in customers being gazumped! Our offer was accepted on one of your properties, then weeks later, when we’ve done everything asked, appointed and paid a solicitor etc, another customer of Signature offers more for the same house and we’re now having to start from scratch. How did they know to offer more?? You’re unethical, dishonest and have very little morals, if any, to treat people like that, when times are hard enough. Do not trust these people, I’ve learned the hard way. Rebekka, at the Whitley Bay branch, needs a lesson in honesty and transparency or whoever is telling her what to email. To send me an email stating my offer hasn’t been accepted, is a joke, weeks after the email sent telling me my offer had been accepted. Why not just email to say your estate agents are a disgrace, that gazumps honest and innocent people. Shame on you!... Read more
