The senior negotiator at the outset was skilled. However, we were wrongly advised. There was only a handful of viewings on one day and greater effort should have been made through more viewings to achieve a higher price. We felt persuaded into accepting a below level price. Once the matter was passed to the progression team, there was a marked lack of genuine interest in us, no proactive activity resulting in us being mislead and the completion date delayed by a month. Our overall experience was the they were charging us too much for the serviced which left us with a feeling that, in fact, they didn't care about the price, or care about when we would complete and were basically acting for the buyer. They only became proactive when we reached a point of seriously threatening to withdraw the property and placing it with another agent. Not a good experience.... Read more
