22nd Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)Borderline illegal sales tactics. The sales team lie about fake offers put into properties to try and increase your offer. Twice I was advised of higher “offers” that had been received and that I just needed to increase my offer a little bit more. Spoke with my solicitor who confirmed there were no other offers. Spoke with Clyde who advised these were “verbal” offers and the solicitor wouldn’t be aware of them!? Pulled my offer out of principal and lack of trust with the Clyde team. The property I was trying to buy now remains on the market unsold. I doubt the owner is even aware as to why we actually pulled the offer.

Friendly enthusiastic approach from the get go and a clear vision on how to market our property to get the best result. We were recommended by a friend and will now recommend to others. They also dealt with viewings and arranged a quick closing date Don’t have final bill yet but we were provided with a breakdown of costs

16th Mar 2022 (2 years ago)We check out 3 different estate agents. We felt comfortable with David at Strathavon Properties. That I felt he was the type of agent I would feel comfortable buying from, was one of the deciding factors for us. David has a nice friendly demeanour. He kept us updated throughout the process and also kept in touch once the process had passed to the solicitors. I would recommend Strathavon Properties to anyone selling or buying their house.

24th Jun 2022 (1 year ago)I am not one who usually writes reviews online but my experience with Property Bureau (Airdrie) has annoyed me so much that I felt compelled to and also to warn other Buyers/Sellers about the experience that happened to us. As we were purchasing a home Property Bureau Airdrie was selling, we decided an easy option would be to sell our property with Property Bureau Airdrie also, the Agent had a good knowledge of the area and gave us confidence that she could sell our home quickly. She returned with the paperwork and took photographs of our property, which we reviewed before they were posted online, within a month our property was sold. I am writing this review to warn others of what we were advised to do by Property Bureau Airdrie, as we had not much experience of selling a property for some time (We had lived in our existing property for 13 years) we went with their advice. The agent advised that the current trend was to leave all white goods when selling a property, both my partner and I were not happy about leaving a washing machine that was less than a year old and a dishwasher that was merely six weeks old but we went with the Agents advice and when we sold the property we left all white goods as instructed by the Agent. This was a big mistake, when me moved into our new property, the white goods in which we inherited were absolutely disgusting, the washing machine had black mould growing within the drawer of the machine and within the drum, we had do dispose of the washing machine (Which cost us £20) and purchase a new washing machine at a cost of £230 in which we had to wait almost two weeks for delivery. The fridge freezer was also disgusting, it took a complete day to clean and still to this day we have not used the freezer compartment, again we purchased a new chest freezer to tide us over until we update the kitchen completely. We have tried to complete compensation for the new washing machine but have been told that this would be a complete waste of time, another point, when seeking legal representation when purchasing/selling a property through Property Bureau Airdrie, choose your own and don’t go with legal firm that they advise.
