19th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Phoned to arrange a viewing - was text to arrange it; which I think is pretty unprofessional. Went for a viewing today and was there for a whole 7 minutes before another family arrived and we where just discarded to be exact “thanks for coming” and then walked off - no goodbye, no arrangement to contact to see how we felt about the house. We actually wanted to have one more walk through but clearly that wasn’t going to happen as agent had sent the other family in. Very rude and unprofessional.

I dealt with David primarily and Abbie and they were absolutely wonderful at making me feel less stressed by keeping on top of the whole sale and keeping me up to date at every step of the process. The emails and text messages for viewing bookings were really appreciated and David taking charge of the viewings themselves helped out a lot as well.

5th May 2024 (2 days ago)I have rented a house via Slater Hogg & Howison for close to 6 years now. Over this time there's been certain repairs needing attention ie damp and black mould. I have kept this house in great condition but the issues date back before I moved in. On countless occasions, mainly from 2021-2024 I have been trying to get these fixed with no joy. I've made so many complaints and have complained to the Property Ombudsman. I am heavily pregnant with my first baby due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison have been aware of this since at least the start of the year, I was trying to get them to fix the issues before June when baby is due as stated in emails to them. My husband contacted Slater Hogg to get an update on the repairs on 29th April, they said the landlord 'was trying to get to the root of the problem with the damp and black mould'. I started Maternity leave on 30th April and that same day Sheriffs Officers came to my door to issue an evicition notice under the grounds the landlord 'intends' to sell in July!! No warning inadvance at all and such a brutal way to treat us, we've always paid rent on time, kept house amazing. We can see an email attached to the evicition notice dated 11th April from Shona McCulloch of the Slater Hogg & Howison Dennistoun branch to say she 'would be delighted' to help sell the property when the landlord is ready. My baby is due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison are delighted to make a newborn baby homeless. This is a revenge evicition because I've been asking to get all the repairs done and i have all the years of proof. It's so unbelievably stressful to be going through this. I do not recommend Slater Hogg & Howison because they are extremely cruel.

17th Apr 2024 (20 days ago)I believe this is a family business so it's with a heavy heart that I leave this negative review but I'm fairly certain even 1 star is too much. I feel like this company can be underhanded with people to benefit themselves and are extremely unprofessional. They do not provide all of the information on the process, they've claimed they don't have information that they do, they lied to get me to put down a deposit, when I queried this each member of staff I spoke to became defensive, aggressive and in one case insulting and another threatening. The staff are unable to answer simple questions about company policy or their obligations as estate agents with all questions having to be put in emails that they don't reply to. They clearly haven't listened to anything I have said as they still believe I am frustrated at being rejected, which I'm not, I'm frustrated at being dragged through a terribly explained process and then being treated poorly when it is questioned. In my experience, this is a place to avoid and certainly does not get my recommendation. Cowboys. UPDATE**You can see their 'customer service' skills in the flesh here in their reply as they have managed to get my name incorrect despite it being directly above where they're typing. They also still haven't replied to questions I posed at the time and have chased since. Avoid at all costs. The one thing they are right about is they did refund my desposit within a day - because I made a lot of noise about their poor practices - so don't accept the 3-5 days (or 5-7 depending on how they're feeling or who you speak to) they tout as being the refund time.

Andrew came to our house to do a valuation and he was very friendly and knowledgable - he was also spot on with the home report value and what the house could achieve. Both Kirstin and Lesley were so lovely and helpful and always at the end of the phone for any questions, they got viewings booked really quickly and they kept us well informed. Raymond was great with showing everyone around as we couldn't do the viewings ourselves so that was a great help. We would highly recommend them to everyone!! - Chelsea and Dan

22nd Apr 2024 (15 days ago)One of the best decisions I've ever made going for Igloo to sell my house. I had heard they were great, and they certainly did not disappoint. They sold my house in 6 days for more than I expected. Stress and worry weren't even a thing when it came to selling my house. The Agent Abby was unbelievably knowledgeable in the processes and she was just so reassuring on questions I had which kept me at total ease. Also any time i phoned and she was busy everyone else in the branch was so nice and helpful. Oh she also was very good at getting back to me. Love that! Big tick! I would highly recommend Igloo Hamitlon. Great experience! If there was a 6th star they would get it!
27th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)We highly recommend R&G Estate Agents who sold our daughter’s flat within a couple of days of this being put on the market. Maria and Victoria couldn’t have been more helpful and efficient. Response time was minimal and communication was excellent throughout. They really went out of their way to be helpful and the service they provided was outstanding.
17th Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)After being let down by another letting agency and worrying about finding another property before our moving date we contacted K property about a property they had to Let, they were great to deal with quick efficient and in constant contact and managed to get us the keys to our new property within our timescale. Highly recommend ????

They kept in regular touch with us re the progress of our sale and offers. Overall an amazing home move experience and I would recommend Momo without any reservations. A five star overall experience!

I was a tennant with them for almost 5 years and from the outset the support and service they provided, at what was initially a difficult time, was amazing . The presentation and standard of the accommodation was impeccable. I have not had many dealings with residential companies however, I sincerely doubt you would not find a more friendly, comprehensive service with any other company. 100% recommended this team.

From the first enquiry to the sale of the house Scott was available at the other end of the phone to answer any queries we had. He carried out the viewings in a professional manner and our home was sold within 6 days of being on the market. Was as stress free as moving house can be. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a first class experience with great negotiations taking place. ????
