From the start to finish you have communicated the whole way through our process and we would have been lost without you !!! Charlie is such a hard worker and never lets the side down ... always chasing up phone calls when needed and always making me and my husband feel better every time we speak to him, you have given us such a lovely experience and I wouldn't recommend any other estate agents other then Parker's !! Sue, Nick and Matt were totally professional throughout, keeping us up to date and persevering with determination when the first sale unfortunately fell through. They were helpful and proactive throughout the whole process.
4th Nov 2025 (6 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with Williams Properties while trying to buy a property through their sales manager, Tim Miller. There was a serious lack of transparency throughout the process. I was told the property wouldn’t be taken off the market until I had paid for searches and instructed solicitors — which I did — only to later discover that key information had been withheld. I later found out that a previous buyer had pulled out because the valuation came back lower than the agreed price, but this was never disclosed to me before I committed financially. When my valuation also came back lower, I was pressured to go with another lender in the hope of getting a higher valuation, even though there was no guarantee the sale would proceed if it came back the same. Overall, I felt misled, pressured, and out of pocket. The experience was stressful and unprofessional, and I wouldn’t recommend Williams Properties based on this experience
30th Oct 2025 (11 days ago)I had a positive experience with the team at George David. The team are very supportive and the communication was excellent from start to finish. I was fortunate to experience a very swift process from point of putting an offer in to completion. The team are helpful and pragmatic which was useful given the time pressures. Thank you to Warren, Amy and Charlotte who made the experience less of a stress to manage. Brilliant team!
10th Jul 2025 (18 weeks ago)I cannot praise or recommend Brown and Merry Wendover enough. I have never been one to leave reviews, but I felt incredibly implied to do it in this case. Our fantastic experience began with viewing the house we were purchasing. We viewed the property two times, firstly with Sylvie and secondly with Ruby. Both were absolutely fantastic experiences, and they both did as much to sell the house as the property itself. On both occasions we were handed beautifully presented brochures, which were fantastic additions to the viewing and more than anything, fantastic memoirs for the house we were purchasing. They were knowledgeable, kind and not in anyway overbearing, completely contrasting all other experiences we had had with estate agents. We submitted an offer for the property, which was accepted, and were immediately given all options in relation to conveyancing, processes etc. Once again, a really thought through stage. During our purchase, through no fault of Brown and Merry's, we began having issues with our solicitors. And in particular, issues with an enquiry from our conveyancers. We were advised by them to call Brown and Merry for advice, and upon doing so were passed to Claire. Claire took it upon herself to liaise with us, the sellers, the sellers solicitor, our solicitor etc. to assist in organising a resolution that would allow exchange and completion. She chased everyone almost everyday, updating us throughout and creating communication between both sides where there never was before due to incompetent solicitors. We had a point of contact for which nothing was too much to help with, and the purest example of someone going above and beyond where they were in no way obligated to. I truly believe without Claire's assistance, we would not be at the exchange stage we are now. Thank you Claire. In summary, if you are thinking of buying or selling through Brown and Merry, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone better.

26th Sep 2025 (6 weeks ago)You definitely get what you pay for, and the help and support I received from Matt, Nicola and the team in Thame was excellent. I chose them because of the help I had received in the previous year or so, answering emails, providing a valuation (for free) - and they did not let me down. They were the only shining light in a difficult and horrible process. Selling a house is a really stressful process; doing it because the owner has dementia and cannot live alone is infinitely more stressful and difficult. The Fisher German team did whatever they could to make it bearable. Thank you Matt, Nicola and the rest of the team

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

20th Sep 2025 (7 weeks ago)I recently viewed a property I was very interested in and made it clear I wanted to put in an offer and in a chain-free position. Despite this, the agent sold to a buyer involved in a chain. When I asked whether it would have been better for their vendor to receive multiple offers, I was told “of course we will take two sales over one.” When that sale later fell through and the property came back to market, I was contacted to view again. Unfortunately, the exact same situation occurred again. I was apprehensive to move forward given the previous time and again, whilst in discussion with the agent, not given a fair opportunity to put in an offer, while the agent managed to reconnect the chain. I understand that the market is difficult, but prioritising an internal double-deal over the vendor’s best interests feels deeply underhand. If I were the seller, I would be furious to learn this was happening. On a separate note, I was taken aback by the line of questioning I received during the viewing. Being quizzed about my age and affordability, along with comments like I “only look about 15”, came across as unprofessional and demeaning. It left me feeling uncomfortable and put me off wanting to view further properties with this agent.

From day 1 they were head and shoulders above the other agents I had tried, both long established in the town. From communication to marketing my property and finally selling and getting the sale through to completion. Highly Recommended!!!

From day one, Victoria showed a professionalism and a knowledge of the local area. She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. From enquiries to viewings arranged, Victoria made ensured that we were supported and informed throughout the entire journey. Her guidance in presenting the bungalow to show it at it's best and expert advice made the whole experience much less stressful than we initially thought. Moreover, everyone we interacted with in the Chinnor team was friendly and knowledgeable, which made us feel confident and at ease. Their professionalism, combined with their warm and friendly approach truly sets them apart. Thank you, Victoria for a positive experience. 1st Sep 2025 (10 weeks ago)If I could give this estate agents no stars I would. I rented out a property which was managed by this estate agents, and the property was filthy, with no working bathroom or hot water in the kitchen. The hob was broken, and throughout the property there was exposed wirings, broken blinds, broken light bulbs etc. Upon emailing the estate agents, I was met with utter contempt and rudeness. There was no support, proper communication and the general demeanour was one of hostility, lack of care, disinterest and if it didn't benefit them financially, they were not interested. I find it horrifying that they consider the state of the flat they rented out acceptable. Food was still down the sink, and the bathroom mirror was broken. It took them over 6 weeks to send the handyman out despite promising it would happen as soon as possible, and this was with numerous chaser emails. Their conduct was completely unprofessional, and way below the standards I would expect of any company, let alone one who is supposed to be supportive of tenants. I would advise anyone to stay away from letting with this company. I cannot advise on their sales team, but from what I have seen of the director, and the woman looking after my tenancy, I would never recommend them to anyone.
