They made the most stressful thing we've ever done much less stressful than it could have been and supported us the whole way with a smile and courtesy. We were kept up to date and I felt reassured to have our case in their hands. Sue in particular is a star ? thank you for helping us secure our dream home.

19th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Avoid at all cost. If i could put 0 starts i would. Was a terrible streefull experience with them. The communication is utterly dreadful and was consistently told lies when i ask for updates. Even my solicitors advised me in the end to not speak to them as they are not very good and truthful. Utterly awful experience i would not wish on anyone when buying a property is stressful enough.

8th Oct 2021 (2 years ago)I was purchasing through Reaston Brown and found them extremely personable. Their communication was excellent and the team felt caring and considerate which made the process, which unfortunately ended in my purchaser pulling out late in the process, a lot less traumatic with the helpful and friendly Sally helping her seller and ourselves through the process. I certainly hope we can purchase through them. And if i lived in the area i would not hesitate to engage them to sell my property - i would feel safe in their hands.

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

From day one, Victoria showed a professionalism and a knowledge of the local area. She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. From enquiries to viewings arranged, Victoria made ensured that we were supported and informed throughout the entire journey. Her guidance in presenting the bungalow to show it at it's best and expert advice made the whole experience much less stressful than we initially thought. Moreover, everyone we interacted with in the Chinnor team was friendly and knowledgeable, which made us feel confident and at ease. 27th Jun 2024 (30 days ago)Called to book a viewing when a property came to rightmove. The conversation with a gentleman at Colombs lasted under 60 seconds. I was told viewings were not being scheduled yet and I would be called back to arrange once dates were known and they confirmed my phone number. That was my first experience. No details were even asked of me. I followed up with an email as I got the sense Colombs had no intention of calling me back. This and my next email went ignored. I then phoned 2 weeks later to find out viewings had commenced and offers placed and so the property was no longer available. Terrible service. Not good for prospective tenants but even worse for the fee paying landlord given Colombs do not know our position I.e. we could offer higher than the asking price and we could pay the whole years rent up front etc.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

We dealt with Phillip Hamp who, from the first viewing to completion, was excellent. One of the most enthusiastic, friendly people I've ever met! He was very accessible, his communication was excellent and he helped guide us through the whole process. When he was away for a while, his colleague Ian Cudworth seamlessly took over with equal aplomb. Can highly recommend. Many thanks!
