19th Dec 2023 (7 mo. ago)Moved from another estate agents to archers after my house hadn’t sold for several months whilst tenanted. Archers were excellent at re marketing and getting new people through the door. They took the stress away and ultimately got a sale.

27th Jul 2020 (3 years ago)After or sale fell through and we decided not to sell, gates estates refused to give us or upfront payment of £1100 back saying it was non refundable. This wasn’t mentioned at the signing of contract only this was a deal which was used to compete with the internet agents which had to be paid upfront. The contract even says refundable after 21 days notice and nothing about no refunds. The matter will be dealt with through the small claims court. A very stupid act from Ryan gates as i doubt gates estates will be trusted in birdwell hoyland and hoyland common by the time I’ve done.
15th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)Initially good to deal with. Purchased a new home through them and found them pleasant. However, things have gone downhill after we found that the new home we purchased was not mortgageable. Have told us that they have nothing to do with the deposit we paid even though they sent the e-mail with bank details on. Would not recommend as at the first sign of a problem they have disappeared and washed their hands of us.
