17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)Fantastic experience with Hunters Estate Agents in Barnsley. From the visit on Thursday morning for the valuation the house was Sold STC within a week. With the daily updates from a very helpful Brogan Christlo who also accompanied the potential buyers as we were on holiday, we cannot fault anything with the service we have received. We would highly recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property.

Unfortunately the property wasn’t right for us but I wouldn’t hesitate recommending BRH for purchasing or selling a property with. Thanks again Paul

They made sure the process was as smooth as possible and kept me up to date on any issues and delays. I had quick responses to all of my questions and they really helped relieve any anxiety. 3rd Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience. We paid a holding deposit and later received an email saying the landlord had chosen someone else. The whole experience was frustrating and felt like a waste of time.<br>Communication was very poor. Most of the time when I went to the office, the person who dealt with rentals wasn’t there. When I called, no one answered the phone.<br>What disappointed me the most was that there was no effort to help us after our application was unsuccessful. They could have said, “You’re looking in this area, we have another property nearby that might suit you,” but instead it felt like they just closed the case and moved on.<br>I feel like they are more focused on selling properties than renting them. Overall, I was left very disappointed with the level of customer service and would not recommend this agency based on my experience.

26th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)For clarity, I am an estate agent ... Josh has been helping me with some sale progression (we are involved in a long chain together). Every time I call, Josh has the answers (the agents below him lied, and thanks to Josh i was able to understand what was going on, and kept my vendors informed) ... The strange thing is that Josh is the Lettings Manager, so sales are not his remit - A man with many hats and a perfect role model for the industry !

During this time, I have worked with both Jess and Kerrie,<br><br>In my experience, I have found them both a pleasure to deal with.<br>Great communication, proactive, good working knowledge of the local market and well priced.<br><br>Therefore I have no hesitation in recommending gates estates to help.<br><br>Cheers Liz.

2nd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)Louise Jones at Redbrik has been absolutely outstanding. From offer to completion took less than 2 months. She made selling our property through Redbrik so much less stressful. It was a joy to work with her.<br><br>She pretty much handled all the communication with our and the buyer's solicitors and kept me informed at all stages.<br><br>She liaised with our buyer on our behalf and dealt with any queries in a matter of minutes. Her communication was excellent and she is a credit to Redbrik. I have never experienced such professionalism, promptness and complete dedication as I have with Louise.<br><br>She is also a really lovely person and was a joy throughout the sale of our house.<br><br>Thank you Redbrik, and Louise in particular. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Saxton Mee helped me at every stage holding my hand throughout the process . Their kindness and patience was amazing , Olivia sorted out great marketing and was always available for advice .We achieved a quick successful sale . I really could not recommend them enough . Choose Saxton Mee for a safe professional and guided sale .

The team have always been there to help and provide detailed information. They have provided reassurance through the process and been extremely helpful. I cannot thank them enough for making this process as easy as it could be during a big life transition. I would absolutely recommend them.

I made an online enquiry on Monday, received a call back on Tuesday, arranged a viewing for Thursday, and by Friday we had paid the holding deposit. The whole process was smooth, efficient, and well organised. We loved the property and were very impressed with how the viewing was conducted. Daniel, who assisted us throughout, did an excellent job. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, providing all the information we needed about the property and clearly explaining the next steps. His communication was prompt and reassuring throughout the process. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Martin & Co Sheffield to anyone looking for their next home. Thank you to Daniel and the team for making the process so straightforward.
7th May 2024 (2 years ago)I had a pleasant stay throughout the year and 6 months plus,from the moment I stepped in their offices I met one agent namely muktah,he was very helpful,a very kind man who knows how to communicate with people,if u have issues he will always be there to help,in life u can never predict ur future,sometimes u hit rock bottom and if u don't have an agent who undestands your struggles you'll definitely have a rough time in the property,i recommend Hallam Hills to a friend whose looking for a place to stay,ask for muktah when u step in their offices you'll never regret it,he's the best of the best ????.
15th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)We had 4 agents to evaluate our house and although they were all efficient there was one that stood out from the crowd. Melissa from Morfitt Smith was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the type of potential buyers, realistic about the asking price, and we felt that the service from a local agent would be more suitable for us. Once we made the decision to use Morfitt Smith, they were very quick to arrange the photographs, which were amazing, and to list the property. We immediately had a lot of viewings arranged and received several offers straight away one of which we accepted with their help and guidance. The communication was fantastic, by text and email, we were kept informed of everything by Lauren, our dedicated contact in the office. We're now looking forward to a smooth process through to the exchange of contracts. We are very happy we made the decision to go with Morfitt Smith, they have been so friendly, professional and efficient in what is potentially a stressful time, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We was on the market last year for 7 months with a different estate agent and couldn’t sell our house. With Lincoln Ralph, sold in two days at the asking price. The whole team, Michael, Anthony, Graham, Nikki- absolutely outstanding. We have a stable future thanks to this team, a good estate agent makes a difference and honestly if they asked me to pay double I would have done it! Special thank you to Michael, who single handed kept our chain running and moving forward. He made sure others stuck to deadlines, constantly chasing them to get a move on. He would explain things even our solicitors wouldn’t - and never made me feel like a single question was a stupid one (yes, I asked a lot of stupid questions). Our future family, my wife, our upcoming baby all appreciate him and the team. Amazing work guys, I will never ever forget to a different estate agent in future

30th Jul 2026 (4 days ago)This is the second home I've sold with Red Roots, but the first time I've had Steve looking after my sale, and I honestly couldn't have asked for anyone better.<br>From day one, Steve was friendly, approachable, and always on the ball. He kept me updated throughout the whole process, was quick to answer any questions, and made everything feel so much less stressful. We got on so well that it genuinely felt like dealing with a friend rather than just an estate agent.<br><br>Nothing was ever too much trouble, and I always felt like I was in safe hands. His professionalism, communication, and support were second to none.<br><br>A huge thank you to Steve and everyone at Red Roots for all your hard work. I really can't praise Steve enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and the team to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
21st May 2025 (1 year ago)We have used Kelham Square for several years now to handle our rental portfolio, we have always found them very good and efficient. We did therefore instruct them to handle the recent sale of one of our properties. Again, there were no major problems, and the sale went through smoothly and efficiently. Stacy was especially good, chasing solicitors and keeping us always informed as to where things were. We would not hesitatate to use them again.

17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.
