30th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Recently purchased a property at auction with Hammer Price Homes. I was a little sceptical first about buying a property via an online auction but was really surprised and happy about how easy it was. I liked the transparency of the auction and felt that it tested what the actual market value of the property was rather than the usual process of placing offers through an estate agent. The additional benefit was that we had time to arrange a mortgage. We had 3 months following the auction to complete and Michael at Hammer Price was great to guide us through the process and answer any questions. We completed 2 weeks ago and have began renovations on our new house last week!

29th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Having sold our previous property through the excellent service of another branch of Savills, we registered with the Telford branch to search for a purchase in this area. Amy Meldrum-Beechey kept us fully informed about potential properties, some of which we viewed. Whilst on this occasion we selected a property being marketed by a different agent, we experienced the same quality of service from Savills as a prospective purchaser that we did as a vendor.

Stephanie helped to answer any questions and guide us through the sale in a professional and courteous manner (we were first time buyers). No issues at all from the first offer to completion and we had regular contact with someone, which was nice to alleviate any additional stress.

We were often spoken over and found the agent who was managing our sale initially was inexperienced unprofessional and condescending. We made a complaint to the Milton branch manager who assured us our complaint would be looked into but unsurprisingly we never received any outcome. Also when we complained the agent made untrue accusations to justify her behaviour. I would avoid using at all costs in the future.

Called and emailed multiple times over three weeks just to arrange a viewing, was asked for my availability and then completely ignored, I wouldn’t waste my time! Despite ‘circumstances beyond your control’ it was well within your control to bother to spend 3 minutes emailing me back, to let me know that, before I had to leave this review! Terrible communication!

3rd Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)I have lived in my apartment for 3 years, my ancient boiler got condemned two weeks ago along with the cooker which was here when i moved in, it took the landlord nearly a week to respond to residential estates about the issues, then i was advised by residential lettings to report the landlord to the council disrepair department which i did and i may add i have a vulnerable child in my care as well, the council got in touch straight away and chased them up, 11 days later i get contacted by the gas engineer company to tell me the date of the new boiler, still nothing about a new cooker, i have spent a small fortune on food and electricity feeding us and keeping us warm, no contact from residential estates, they tried saying at one point that I couldn’t be contacted which is a lie, my roof is leaking i cannot sleep in my bedroom as the ceiling is wet and starting to mold, the wall is soaking wet! Not heard anything about the roof either, is this acceptable? Freezing cold, no cooker, cold wet bedroom? Lack of communication, no oil heaters which was said was going to be brought to the property? At this point I expect compensation and the issues to be dealt with swiftly!

Completely put me off viewing any properties with them.
