Awful telephone manner, rang to enquire about a property and whoever answered the phone was very rude and blunt, wasn’t even sure I’d rung the correct number when greeted with a rude ‘hello?’ Then mumbled and put the phone down when they’d said what they needed to. We were selling a flat in Walsall. Having used Remax in Quebec Canada, they were a shoe-in. Our first agent was a wonderful woman who explained everything and turned up for visits. Sadly, she left the company and a gentleman from The Wolverhampton branch took over. Downhill skiing comes to mind. First, we were persuaded to drop our price. Then, I couldn’t find our property on social media. It had disappeared. The gentleman told me they had problems with their database. This was fixed, but without me mentioning it, I doubt it would have been sorted. I also suspect it had disappeared for at least a month. We had a viewing arranged, and I Waited for the buyers to arrive. The agent wasn’t coming, though I did suggest we should meet. The buyer didn’t arrive. It transpired that the agent hadn’t passed on our details! Totally unprofessional.... Read more

Hi had the worst experience with Remax. The agent lied about the duration of start of sale to completion. He made me trust him with regards to how much commission he was going to charge me, from what was on the contract. The agent put me through emotion stress and I suffered from anxiety attacks due to delays and false information that was given to me.
I was threatened by the agent before completion to pay the commission or be taken to court. The company invoiced me 3.5 percent commission instead of the initial percentage agreed. Luckily I picked up on the error. I was verbally abused by the agent due to me question his tactics.
I would never recommend Remax to anyone. They are a worldwide organisation who have an agent working for them who is so unprofessional and only cares about the money.
So if you want to have a company who rips you off and charges you high commission rates for a unprofessionalism service. Then definitely go to Remax.... Read more

Do not waste your time... imagine going through multiple interview stages wasting your time with these people after turning down other job offers, agreeing on a start date and setting up a training schedule and when the time comes to attend training and start working you do not hear from them, and when you try to reach out they do not answer phone calls or emails. Unprofessional is an understatement - if this is the ethical standard this company represents, it makes me question how someone could trust this team with their home and life work...... Read more
