24th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)I really wouldn't recommend Signature Estates unfortunately. Selling a flat, no chain other than buyer and seller (us) for one vacant property. Sold at beginning of May22 still not completed by 24/08/2022 - last contact from Signature Estates was at the beginnjng of August. Send numerous emails, no response. Left 3 phone messages, no response. Very little activity, that we can see or are aware of by Sugnature Estates to support the sale. On their "sellers portal" last update for us the sellers was June 2022, last update on buyers progression is stated as July 2022, now being 24/08//2022. It has been extremely hard work with Signature Estates - PLEASE BE AWARE!
4th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)It took several fallen through sales before the sale of my Mum's house to go through and Carter Hayward were patient, professional and helpful throughout. At the time we were selling, I lived 50 miles away from my Mum and it was important to us that she felt 100% comfortable with the agent, which she did with these guys. In fact, she described them more than once as 'lovely'! The eventual sale wasn't the smoothest, but they were in constant touch and an effective go between with us and the buyers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
27th Mar 2024 (27 days ago)Unfortunately had a bad experience lately with Robinsons, we rented until recently, god fobid if you have a major problem with the property you rent from them, they dont answer your emails or calls, its as if they dont care, they've got your money thats all they are interested in, thier employees make empty promises, perhaps they should just stick to selling houses, that way once it done you dont need to deal with them again

9th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)Was keen on viewing a house but some 12 year old kid named Mo who they have manning the phones was completely useless in organising a viewing and eventually said that the house was sold despite not being sold. I went and viewed the house at another local estate agent who were very good at organising a viewing. I event put in an offer and gazumped the poor person who had the misfortune of dealing with Mo and Co at Brown and Merry. I am currently typing this review from that very house! Lesson learnt, when selling £500K+ houses don’t put a 12 year old as your front of house!

11th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Salters Residential sold my mums property, when she recently relocated to the West Country. Due to her age, I looked after her property sale - the only input she made was appointing Salters. It was the correct decision. Alan, Hannah and the rest of the team at Salters are the opposite of almost every other estate agent we’ve used; They are absolutely SUPERB. They fly in the face of your stereotypical agents, as they genuinely care. They are extremely professional, always come back to you (when they say they will), they know your house chain inside out and they are completely reliable. Alan even came back to me when he had Covid. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough, as they hugely lessen the anxiety and stress of a house move. If you are looking for a genuinely superb, professional and honest estate agent, please get in touch with Alan, or Hannah. ????
