Unfortunately the house we put down an offer for has fallen through but we felt there was no empathy for the situation from Emefa and therefore will most likely not be going with the agency again.
Whilst we appreciate things happen we expected a little care in our case but i guess for estate agents its a simple case of whether they will receive there commission or not.

Unfortunately I’ve had the worst experience with the landlord of the property I rented with this agency. So many false information have been given to us by one of the agent prior to signing a contract. Landlord did his best to deduct almost the full amount of deposit and agency was not supporting their tenant at all. I’m glad i’m moved out and not recommend to anyone at all.

I had lived in my house for 25 years when I began to think about downsizing, as all the children were grown and gone. To say I was nervous about it was an understatement, but after I had spoken to various Estate Agents to test the waters, I decided upon Haart because they were very reassuring about the process and did make the experience a seamless transition; from advice on what more needed to be done to the property (very little, it turned out), excellent photographs and marketing. I sold my house within a few weeks (I had already found a property to buy, so time was of the essence) and was more than happy with the new buyers - it was a family home, so needed a potential family (not my place to dictate who should buy, but 25 years is a longtime to be in love with a house and not want someone else to care for it equally). I had lots of questions about the process and Haart were very patient in answering those questions and were most welcoming at their local offices when I dropped in for an update (like you do, lots in my case). All in all, it was a fantastic experience, handled friendly and professionally from the beginning to the end. I made a good, firm choice in choosing them and I must say, I’m rather pleased with how it all went and have recommended both Roberto and Jamie from Haart to several people for their knowledge, helpfulness and seemingly endless abundance of patience.

I really think a lot of this estate agent. We'd been on the market with another two agents for over 10 months, with no offers. Debra was in the area one day and popped in to see if she could offer a new perspective. Within a few days, new pictures were taken and we were on the market with Haart. A month later we had an offer. It took 2.5 months from offer to completion. Debra and Rhia were fabulous at staying in contact and chasing things up.
Debra then mentioned to me a house they were taking on (that had previously been on with another agent!) that I should view. She really understood my situation (divorce, hence house sale, two young children). The house she found for me is perfect and is the one I am now in the process of buying!
I think it really helps to have agents that are so friendly, knowledgable and understand and are sympathetic to peoples' personal situations.
I still look at Rightmove daily (it's an addiction!) and am always pleased for Haart when I notice they sell a property they've just taken on, that has previously been on with another agent for ages.
Also, the mortgage advisor at the branch, Philip, is brilliant. He really knows his stuff and is so enthusiastic!

My partner put his house on the market in May. Agent seriously overpriced property. Of the six or so viewings he had he received no feedback and had to ring agent every time. When we went abroad on holiday we left agent with his son's contact details which were completely ignored and they phoned us in Menorca to arrange a viewing. Said they
would arrange open day on 28thJune and changed date with no consultation. Left lights on after viewing. If you want to sell your house quickly DO NOT CHOOSE THIS AGENT.
