Extremely poor service. They still use paper based systems to track customer records and interest in property, no wonder the manager is incapable of returning a phone call

Absolutely useless. The Oakham office closed a few weeks after we engaged them with absolutely no warning. This was not due to Covid-19, it had already been planned for some time. It left us with advisors who had no knowledge of our sale as the only remaining person that had dealt with us was furloughed. We were never kept up to date with our buyer's position, who was extremely awkward to say the least. It seemed most of the time they were working for him and not us. The chain or buyer's funds were never verified and the only reason the sale actually completed was because of an intervention by our solicitor. I really begrudge paying Hurfords at all, they provided absolutely nothing helpful to the process other than putting us on Rightmove

Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances we haven't been able to continue with our sale and purchase through Hurfords however the team were brilliant. Jayne in the sales office went out of her way to find us a property to purchase and helped us look outside the box when it came to location. Now if you want an excellent mortgage advisor you need Ashley on the case. He went above and beyond and did his absolute best to secure the mortgage we needed (unfortunately the mortgage gods were not in our favour this time). We will definitely be coming back to Ash when we decide to try again no hesitation. Thanks Ash!!
