15th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)From start to finish, the service and level of care I've had with Slater Hogg Helensburgh has been first class. From initial conversations and all the way throughout, it's been absolute professionalism from all the staff. A great experience all in, and I'd happily use their services again should I ever need to.
21st Apr 2026 (14 weeks ago)We had previously tried to market our plot with Bell Ingram, Oban in 2023/24, with little interest which, at the time, we put down to market forces. We are considering marketing our plot again, so contacted Andrew Fuller on 16 March. Even after two further calls, one text message and two emails we have not heard a thing as at 21 April despite being promised several times that Mr Fuller would be in touch. This is appalling service for an existing customer with property to sell. If it was possible to award zero stars we would, as their service and even communication has been non-existent, and we now wonder whether the previous lack of viewings was down to their lack of effort. We wouldn't now rely on them to market a bag of crisps and have contacted another agent.
24th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)Excellent service throughout, from initial contact to discuss prospects, possible prices and costs, through to finalising the sale of the house. Friendly and professional at every stage with absolutely no pressure applied. Sales materials, from really well-wriiten text to superb videos, including drone footage of the property and surrounds, were outstanding. Good at helping manage the sale, discussing useful changes and following up and reporting back prospective buyer interests and dislikes. I can't imagine the process being handled better. A big thanks to the area director Allan and manager, Seona.

27th Jul 2016 (10 years ago)The purpose of this review is not to be defamatory or be untrue it is simply an account of my experience of MacPhee & Co. So here is my sorry story. I employed MacPhee & co to sort out legally the custody of my daughter. While I had no problem as lawyers they were actually rather good. The problem started When I received a substantial bill, quite simply I felt they did not keep me informed as to what kind of fees they were running up. When after numerous and phone calls it became apparent that I couldn’t pay their fees straight away and despite agreeing that I pay in installments as quickly as I could. With 2 working days notice they resigned from the case leaving me unrepresented. Now in fairness they did give me a long time to pay the fees that was small comfort as due to trying to represent my self I lost nearly 50% of the access I had to my daughter prior to getting involved with them. This review is purely an account of my experience and I am not recommending you use them or not. The decision dear reader is yours. Finally despite legal letters promising all sorts of actions from them I’m still giving them one star.

3rd Feb 2026 (25 weeks ago)I would not recommend this firm and most certainly not Donna Sagewood. For a simple divorce it took 5 years with a lot of no response and "being in court" excuses as to why she took months to respond to emails, calls or act on what she said she was going to do. Then to top things off after giving all our original birth certificates and being assured I’d get them back they’ve gone and lost them! Honestly save your self the hassle, stress and frustration and go to anyone but this place! I was originally used by herself I’d get copies sent out and still waiting…..it’s an ongoing saga with lots of her clients!

They found excellent, high-quality tenants within days of listing and handled all the paperwork seamlessly.<br>?Their communication is brilliant, and they keep me updated on everything without me ever having to chase them. I have complete peace of mind knowing my property is in their hands. Five stars! I am so happy with the service i have received from Victoria and staff.

Open conversation and current updates ongoing throughout the period my house was on the market. I bought that house from Argyll Eastate Agents, then sold the house nearly seven years later. All 'n' all, a good choice of Agent. Thank you Johnny & Laura.

25th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Small rural company. Very helpful and efficient with house purchase. Looking at other reviews, it would seem that some people expect a "big city" service. Either that, or their level of entitlement is out of control.

Especially Laura M who is an absolute credit to the company....she was extremely attentive and very efficient in every aspect to the sale of our property and went above and beyond with helping us find our forever home.
