Even once a buyer was found Chris and Amy took great care guiding us through the sale process through to completion. I look forward to hopefully working with them again in the future.

10th Oct 2024 (14 weeks ago)I contacted Strutt & Parker in Exeter to sell my late parents home in Sidmouth. Isabel Clifton came and looked around the property, she was punctual and very professional with a friendly attitude. Isabel had a good grasp of the market and how to market the property in a difficult housing market. Isabel and her team provided good helpful advice and had an excellent knowledge of marketing our property. Their whole approach was professional, from valuing the property, to producing the particulars and photographs, to arranging the viewings and showing the potential purchasers around the property and achieving a good sale price that I was very happy with. I would highly recommend Isabel Clifton & her team if you are wishing to market a property. Robin Gabriel

20th Aug 2024 (21 weeks ago)Because I live away from North Devon, it was purely a series of emails being received, detailing the date, time and name of your client. This was followed by periodic updates of how the visit was perceived. We were continually briefed by members of your staff and hence constantly kept in the loop. Am just now waiting to hear from the buyer. Thank you for your assistance with the sale of mum's bungalow.

All the staff were extremely polite, courteous and very professional. I had many questions to ask, all of which were answered timely, accurately and with excellent advice. 29th Oct 2024 (11 weeks ago)We chose to go with Winkworth because of Henry's knowledge of the £1m+ market in Farnham and his confidence that he could achieve the full asking price. We certainly didn't regret the decision and in fact sold our property prior to the wider launch on Rightmove (and for a higher price than that proposed by another premium national estate agent). Throughout the process Henry kept the momentum at every obstacle and retained his positive and enthusiastic outlook. I would have no hesitation in recommending Henry, Chelsea and his team at Winkworth Farnham.

Turned up to house with keys after picking them up from their offices and tenants were still in the house with their possessions still in property. I rang the ewemove office and they didn't want to know. Seems to me they had their money and washed there hands on the whole matter, no after sales commitment at all.

The whole process from applying to view the rental to moving in was so smooth. Even 2 weeks before Christmas it was not stressful in the slightest. They are all so friendly and attentive, it makes all the difference. Nothing is too much trouble. The welcome hamper was also beautiful and almost reduced me to tears. Thank you so much for everything, if I could give more than 5 stars I would.
18th Mar 2024 (9 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
10th Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)The acid test of an organisation is not what happens when things go to plan, it is when they do not. The team at Stonebridge worked with us over a year to refurb our mother's flat to a high standard, having spent time to go over all the options. In spite of losing two buyers and a final one that also brought challenges, and with unexpected glitches during the refurb, throughout all this the entire team - whomever you dealt with - were reassuring, human, understanding, knowledgable and patient, when it would have been all too easy for all of us to lose the plot. We sold at a good price, and I was left feeling grateful we followed our instincts on first meeting Saylan and Peter that these were 'good people'. Much as I am glad it is all over, a part of me is sad I will not be in regular contact. I cannot recommend them highly enough.Bond Oxborough Phillips - Torrington

They discriminate against people on low income or benefits, by having an unrealistic income threshold, thereby making it impossible for those on benefits or a low income to be able to rent a property.
5th Jan 2025 (12 days ago)We had the pleasure of purchasing our home via Michael Adey , from initially viewing the property to completion was less than 10 weeks. Every step of the process was very smooth and I had no issues calling the staff at Michael Adey’s as they were all absolutely lovely and always willing to address anything I required . I highly recommend this business to anyone requiring an estate agent .
