My first contact with them was their real estate agent, Sophie, who was knowledgable, kind, and most importantly of all, honest. We viewed a few houses and she did not try oversell any, she gave honest opinions and was really helpful in helping us choose a new home. After it was confirmed I was in constant contact with Sims Williams, and they were always very response, Louise, who was looking after me throughout the process was excellent, even replying to emails on weekends, to try get the job done! I would buy using Sims Williams again in a heartbeat, made the whole supposedly 'stressful' process incredibly easy.

29th Mar 2025 (24 days ago)Quite possibly the worst estate agents I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with. Renting a flat was quite simply a horrible experience - from the viewing, we were lied to about the condition of the property and how well certain amenities functioned. We also encountered a leak the first day of the tenancy, and was told no one can come out to look at it straight away. We simply should have took this as a sign of worse things to come. Every person we’ve spoken to here have been incredibly unhelpful and quite frankly, you’d have more luck communicating with a worm, given the fact most emails regarding tenancy renewal towards the end of the tenancy were laden with “clerical errors”. Poor communication between us, Hancock and Partners and the landlord of the property for the multiple issues the property had, and still had the audacity to claim steep rent increases were due to “market value”, instead of greed on their end for their agency fees and the landlords greed. Would recommend if you like being lied to and not having emails responded back to you for 2 months. If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

4th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)In hindsight I feel property was slightly overvalued given the state of the market, however staff were always helpful and extremely responsive, getting feedback where possible after every viewing and did suggest a price drop which got things going with the viewings. When we accepted an offer they assisted in moving things along quickly and we were able to move through to completion within 6 weeks. Katie, Julie Ann, Natalie and Stuart were all very knowledgeable and professional and I'd not hesitate to use them again

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

They had regular viewings arranged and helped us to get an offer quickly. However they really came into their own towards the end of the process when some issues to do with solicitors dow the chain threatened the success of the sale. Sophie Franklin and Emma Neville went above and beyond to help us chase people up, communicated with everyone involved and they managed to help solve the issue in time for the sale to still go through. We would definitely recommend them to friends or family.

They handled both transactions with dedication, openness, skill and professionalism. They were available to speak with most of the time, and if not, always called us back. Our initial contact for valuation and contract was with Nathan, who then passed matters to his team, who all were reliable and proficient. We would like to make special mention of Ben who cleared the preliminaries to get our purchase underway, and Kiera, who was simply amazing at keeping on top of the process of both transactions with tenacity and diplomacy, always keeping us informed. We can’t recommend this estate agent highly enough. Thank you to you all.

We had a difficult time with solicitors dragging it on but both of them helped enormously. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended, thank you.

As a landlord who always wants to do the right thing by the tenant and property, I would not be without Sean. Communication is prompt, proactive and efficient; he will always pick up the phone and offer as much time and advice as is necessary. A rare aspect in business these days. I would not hesitate to recommend.
