From the initial valuation from Adam, the ultimate professional, to the ongoing chasing and updating by Kathleen, we felt that they could not have done better. Kathleen, in particular, showed great tenacity in dealing with a number of issues, often overcoming the weaknesses of other parties in the chain, due in part to her skill at building relationships. She was so pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. I am happy to recommend the team at Hamptons.

She is extremely knowledgeable and has been absolutely amazing from start to finish with everything. She set my mind more at rest. She was available all the time to answer any questions I had and would always return my calls. She explained everything really well and clearly. I felt so supported through the process. She assisted me with finding the right mortgage provider for me and my particular situation. I also appreciated her friendly disposition. We certainly didn't regret the decision and in fact sold our property prior to the wider launch on Rightmove (and for a higher price than that proposed by another premium national estate agent). Throughout the process Henry kept the momentum at every obstacle and retained his positive and enthusiastic outlook. I would have no hesitation in recommending Henry, Chelsea and his team at Winkworth Farnham.

18th Mar 2024 (9 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I have very limited experience of house buying, so the guidance that Greg provided regarding the 'basics' was particularly helpful and his patience throughout was admirable. I felt that he dealt with both parties very fairly and he remained easily contactable during the whole process. I would strongly recommend him to anybody considering buying a house.
14th Dec 2024 (5 weeks ago)We purchased our current home through Savills Farnham and Helen was great with this transaction as it got tricky at the end. We have just sold that property through Savills Farnham again and they were great at scheduling viewings and negotiating on our behalf. At the same time we also brought our new home through them. They made it so easy and straight forward for us which was greatly appreciated. Quinton did a fantastic job managing all the parties involved and getting us all exchanged / completed seamlessly. Couldn't have done it without them.

All five departments have performed extremely well for me. My main day to day working relationship is with, Jenna Wills and Stephine Swainston of Lettings and Sarah Seton-Smith of Property Management. My family has a small portfolio of Buy to Let properties in Alton. My experience of working with all the named folks that I worked with on day to day basis and those in the background dealing with Sales, Accounts and Contracts has exceeded my expectations. All of them provide high quality of service, it almost feels like the service personalised.
19th Dec 2024 (28 days ago)We found Seymours to be very good at communicating with us. However, we had very little viewing activity and one of the viewers we had, stated that they wanted to live in a different area, prior to the viewing, which was for us a waste of time. Unlike most estate agents, the client pays for the photographs of the property and the financial check upfront. So if you don't sell your property like us you lose £250. It only gets refunded when you sell your property, which did surprise us initially. However, eventhough they did not manage to sell our property, we found the overall experience to be a positive one.
