12th Mar 2022 (2 years ago)Kat and her team were amazing! They kept me informed at every step and were incredibly knowledgeable for a first time seller! They sold the property in a matter for days for The price I wanted. I was thrilled at how quickly they wrapped everything up.
12th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)Murray & Currie are atrocious - we had rented with them for 4 years, having lived in two flats. In both, they had ignored us when we made them aware of plumbing issues (at one point disregarding months of constant follow-ups), which culminated in damage to our downstairs neighbours flats. Once again, in both instances, the neighbours had to contact our landlord themselves as the letting agents could not be bothered to do their job. Altogether, the caused thousands of pounds worth of damages and stress for everyone involved, including both us as the tenants and the landlords. This is the tip of the iceberg - I had paid rent in advance of my own volition at one flat, and they illegally kept it for months after I asked for it back (as I was moving). They also tried to charge us the full cost of a professional clean at move-out, despite the fact that we had paid for a professional cleaning using their own cleaning company upon the end of the tenancy. Honestly, there are no words. Truly I have never seen this level of incompetence. One flat managed by Murray and Currie and the entire neighbourhood ends up with a multi-year-long headache. You'd have better luck getting your property managed by a chimp.
25th Jul 2024 (2 days ago)We were very impressed with the service provided by Hunter French in Devizes. Our estate was enthusiastic and proactive - giving sound advice throughout the process. Our sale was complicated by the fact that we were living and working in germany but the agent worked with us and so it was not an issue. When he was not around, the team responded on his behalf so communication was excellent with all queries answered promptly. It was a good experience for us as sellers.

However it is the communication that is excellent. Selling a house can be stressful but at every stage we received guidance, support and clarity. No hesitation in recommending them to you in the highest possible terms

We encountered many of the standard solicitors delays as to be expected (no fault of the agents), however Maisie and Tom were always on the ball when it came to chasing 3rd parties for answers to keep the process moving forward. Polite, friendly and informative service - much better than what we had previously experienced at neighbouring agents and I would not hesitate to recommend Taylors Brislington to anyone else looking to purchase property in the local area. We will be using them again for certain.

The whole process was so efficient and easy, and the agents are a pleasure to communicate with. We were immediately impressed by their professionalism, as they made a difficult process as easy as it could be for us. For example, after every viewing, we had feedback within the hour, without having to chase them to request it. Their customer service was excellent throughout, they always answered our questions swiftly and returned calls. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Despite everyone telling us how fantastic our home was we didn’t receive any offers and interest soon dwindled. In August 2023 we appointed Fine & Country Marlborough and what a totally amazing experience from day one! Kate Ormand was our contact and she was truly amazing! She worked tirelessly trying to sell our house and remained positive and encouraging even in times when the market was quiet. She always kept us updated and was always contactable. We cannot praise her enough. Ed and Pip from the Marlborough team were also always helpful and supportive. We sold our house recently and Kate made sure the whole process was as smooth as possible even in challenging times. The old adage ‘you get what you pay for’ couldn’t have been more true as Kate went way above and beyond to ensure our sale was successful. If you’re thinking of selling your home anytime soon do not bother with any other estate agent because Kate and the Marlborough team are simply the best!
