I'd highly recommend Kingsley Pike, if only for the excellent service provided by Ranbir Summerfield. Ranbir sorted out what turned into a very protracted sale (through no fault of Kingsley Pike), kept everyone up-to-date and on track and was just so friendly and easy to deal with that she kept my stress levels as low as they could possibly be when you're moving house. They are a great, local company and I would use them again - not that I'm planning to move for a very long time!

They have been tremendous through a long and turbulent (no fault of my buyer or Martin Walker) sale and purchase. With their help and advice, I finally got to bag my lovely new home. Just recently i have dealt with an agent named Emma at martin walker i found her very patronizing and incredibly rude she seemed unwilling to help me with my desire to look at a property outside of Devizes. Usually estate agents are over you and keen to get you a viewing but i felt excluded when talking to her to try to arrange a viewing and the conversation was like i had done something wrong?.
Today 1st August I was exchanging on a property purchased through Atwell Martin as exchange monies paid and ready to move forward with the completion date, I received an email from Jane slusarczy saying sorry the seller has decided not to go ahead with me on the day of exchange and has decided to go with someone else who has made a better offer, can someone please explain there have been no underhanded goings-on with the agent? Jane slusarczy stated she wasn't aware as she was away? But Josie Watkins was available who was also involved with the sale. This can only happen if the agent has continued to market the property underhanded on behalf of the seller showing others the property without informing me up to the point of exchange, my husband even went over to the property on Friday 26th July as the main drain could not be found but my husband did find it, I informed the solicitor of the location of the drain I informed Atwell Martin also who thanked me and confirmed the exchange for early the following week, please tell me between Friday 26th & Thursday 1st August that they have resold the house, the seller has accepted the offer sent out the memorandum of sale, arranged solicitors all done all this through the post, not possible, my advice to any purchaser is make sure you have an agreement in place with the seller & Atwell martin that once sold that no further marketing will take place as no doubt AT will do the dirty behind your back so buyer beware of this company Atwell Martin, we have arranged a removal company to move, our furniture is in storage which I have also informed we will be moving out all of our furniture, be careful of dealing with this company Atwell Martin as totally unprofessional and only interested in there commission and stabbing purchasers in the back, they lie to your face right up to the day of exchange, strange should I have twigged? as they totally blanked me as no emails returned they are obviously running a scam and I can only think of how the timeshare companies used to be allowed to operate but they were eventually outlawed, Atwell Martin are operating legally though the same way as these outlawed timeshare companies I am not sure yet where we stand legally on this as legal fees run into thousands which I have to pay for this company not informing me before exchange and selling the house I was supposed to exchange on today, please please be very very careful they will behind your back still try and sell the house you had set your heart on to buy, they will cause you a lot of misery & unnecessary financial cost. They are all in their offices laughing knowing they have just stitched up another purchaser and made more commission by being allowed legally to do this the thing is they are getting away with it and nothing is being done to stop them, I think I will set up a petition with change.org and bring this to the attention of potential purchasers dealing with Atwell Martin, I am thinking of contacting the NAEA but there probably just as bad representing agents operating a scam because let’s face it the agent pays them a fee to be a member so who are the NAEA going to represent and be on the side of? The agents of course.
Complete lack of communication.
Am absolutely disgusted with how much of my deposit has been taken for things that are made up and dishonest.
I was charged for a missing door handle which the letting agent themselves admitted to breaking off of the door.
We were also overcharged by £300 for another repair plus they told us the back door needed to be replaced when an independent contractor found nothing wrong with it.
Moved out 6 weeks ago and we are still waiting for our emails to be replied to and for someone at this letting agent to send our money to the deposit scheme for independent adjudication which we asked to happen weeks ago.
Avoid at all costs!!!!!!
