The team were outstanding - so professional , proactive , informed and extremely personable. The sale was not a straightforward one and their understanding and communication was outstanding and we felt very reassured throughout. I could not recommend them highly enough - we are so happy in our new property and a big thank you to the team for making the process as seamless as possible. Wonderful service and lovely team. Our experience with them was seamless, efficient, and genuinely stress-free from start to finish. Throughout the process, we felt fully informed and involved, with excellent communication at every stage. Sue in the office was consistently thorough and efficient, handling all bookings and enquiries with great professionalism. The team who carried out the viewings were fantastic—flexible, considerate, and always accommodating of our busy household with two young children and a cat. Bernice and the viewing team made us feel completely at ease, and the feedback we received after each viewing was always helpful and insightful. Kept in the loop with viewings and outcomes. Very useful feedback from potential buyers. Found the Street.co.uk app good. Would definitely use McFarlane Sales & Lettings again. Tim Stanley was excellent.

15th Jan 2026 (16 weeks ago)I honestly can’t thank Hannah Knight enough for the effort she’s put in to get my property over the line. I’m currently on the other side of the world and a last-minute issue came up with checks that could have delayed my tenants moving in possibly weeks— who were relocating from up north literally the next day. Despite the time pressure, Hannah worked relentlessly to sort it. She pulled out all the stops, coordinated everything on my behalf, kept me fully updated, and made sure it was resolved in time so the move could still go ahead as planned. Her professionalism, responsiveness and genuine care made a potentially stressful situation completely painless for me. It’s rare to find someone who goes this far above and beyond their job, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for better service. If you’re looking for an estate agent who is proactive, dependable and actually gives a damn — I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

What was becoming a stressful situation has been made so easy since we switched to Goodman Warren and Beck. Paul Warren has been so helpful from the beginning and has gone beyond expectation to help us.
21st Apr 2026 (13 days ago)I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience with your agency. Yesterday, I submitted several enquiries through the portal in order to arrange a viewing for one of your listed properties. I received no response whatsoever to any of my requests. Suddenly this morning the property has been removed from the portal. I would kindly ask that, in future, basic courtesy be extended to prospective tenants or buyers who have taken the time to reach out. A simple acknowledgement or notification that a property is no longer available would be greatly appreciated, and is the least one would expect from a professional agency. I hope this feedback is taken on board.

From the moment we engaged with Atwell Martin, Calne to facilitate the sale of our property, both Ben and Stewart have been very much hands on and kept us informed every step of the way. Our home was listed on their website in just a few days of us signing up, and was sold after just two viewings in the first couple of weeks. 27th Feb 2026 (9 weeks ago)Jamie and the team helped us to buy our first home and couldn’t recommend the Hunter French Tetbury team enough. We had a lot of negotiation due to some additional land being purchased alongside the property but we were kept informed throughout and this resulted in a smooth and swift sale, receiving the keys just months later. We will certainly reach out to the team if we need any help selling/buying in future. Thanks again to the Tetbury team for their help and support throughout what can be a stressful process !

15th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)Strakers Chippenham are extremely competent. They are a very traditional estate agent which is a good thing when going through the stresses of selling your home. We originally bought through Strakers and 23 years later we have sold through them. I would happily use them again.
27th Feb 2026 (9 weeks ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

27th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!- 25th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Thanks to the Kingston team they have achieved a completed sale of my late father’s retirement flat. Their advice, support and enthusiasm secured a buyer of these particularly limited market properties. Sellers of retirement properties need to be aware that they can be very slow to sell, in my case three years, so a very competitive price is key. Well done to Kingstons, such a huge weight off my mind. I have no hesitation in recommending Kingstons.

22nd Apr 2026 (12 days ago)I contacted Richard at Miles Byron in the New Year as I was looking to sell my home. I was drawn to Richard as a potential agent due to the wonderful review on offer by previous clients. Richard quickly arranged an appointment to meet me and review my home and discuss my wishes, he offered a fair and sensible price in line the current market and following agreement was able to return promptly to take photographs and get my home listed on the market. My home went up for sale on the 10th January 2026 and it an offer was made and accepted by 23rd January 2026 from ideal buyers with no chain as I needed a quick move due to personal circumstances with a timeline of the end of April as the ideal. I have today exchanged and due to complete on the sale on 5th May 2026. Huge thank you to Richard for such a seamless process and securing me the best price possible. I am most impressed with his work ethic and that one man can single-handedly and so efficiently manage all parts of the process from photos, listing on social media, managing and completing any viewings, updating promptly after viewings etc. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard/Miles Byron to anyone locally looking to buy or sell.
