We have just recently moved into a rental property and we found the whole process from viewing the property, reference checking, tenancy agreements prepared a very stress free process. This was due to Demi who has a very pleasant personality and handled everything in a very professional manner. She is a great asset to Connells Letting Department.
The young lady advisor that I spoke with was lazy and not very willing to answer queries. Rather unhelpful and I'll be avoiding in future.
We have recently exchanged contracts on the sale of our current house and purchase of our new house - both through David Evans. We have been so impressed with the level of service we have received from all of the team, but especially Jon and Graham, who have both worked tirelessly to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible in a long and quite drawn out chain! Always professional, friendly and proactive, keeping us informed at every stage. We were initially tempted to use an online agent, but am now so glad that we didn't, having seen how much work these guys have put in. I am hoping not to have to move again for a very long time, but wouldn't think twice about using them again and will recommend to anyone looking for a good estate agent.
Poor service. Made an offer on a Monday heard nothing back by Tuesday evening so rang for an update. They hadn't spoken to the vendor yet but said they would call me once they had. One week on and still hadn't even had the common decency to ring and give an update. How this estate agent has good reviews if they treat people like this is beyond me. Such shame as the house was amazing.
Excellent, helpful and professional staff. A gentleman named Bradley helped me from start to finish and helped a great deal with any questions I had. Definitely recommended
I recently bought a house through Stanfords Estate agents based in Eastleigh, and it was genuinely one of the worst experiences of my life. When putting in an offer on a house (supposedly the most exciting time) I was told my offer was "unlikely to be accepted unless we were to use their mortgage adviser", I felt bullied and upset more like they were holding the house to ransom to benefit their own pockets than help their seller and a buyer make a decision. I was also told the Buyer wanted me use their mortgage adviser, which I saw as another form of bullying which was likely to be untrue.
Following all of this we agreed to meet their mortgage adviser who was unable to meet the previous quotes we were given so all in all a waste of time and upset.
Not only did all of this happen but we were never told of a completion date that the buyer were working toward until 2 weeks before.
I hated dealing with Stanfords and I would never recommend anyone to sell or buy a house through them.
A very bespoke service that catered for our individual needs. The communication was excellent throughout the process and we always felt valued. Every member of the team were proactive and were willing to help when our point of contact was not available
Lovely new branch with very helpful and friendly staff.
