20th Jan 2022 (3 years ago)Savills Norwich provided excellent service at every stage of the marketing and sale of our farmhouse. Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.
19th Dec 2024 (5 weeks ago)Everyone in the office Sandy, Gemma and Bruce have been absolutely fantastic support throughout the buying process even though they weren't our agents. They kept us informed and their communications have been second to none, I would totally recommend them. Should we ever move again we wouldn't hesitate to use the Reepham office no matter where we moved to. Thank you so much for your help you made a very stressful time much easier
20th Dec 2024 (5 weeks ago)Avoid! Complete lack of communication. No contact for 5 MONTHS after I sold my house through them. They didn’t even have much work to do for that. After 2 days on the market and the first viewer, it sold. Thank goodness the agents for the house I bought were on the ball and kept me up to date. During that 5 months I left the manager 3 voice messages to return my call. He never did. I complained to WH Brown head office and after an ‘investigation’ I was told they had done nothing wrong! Obviously standard practice for them Absolutely terrible service. I reckon around 5 hours work for them, which works out at £1000.00 per hour No wonder estate agents have such a bad reputation

In particular Courtney, who's professionalism, persistence and communication was amazing through the whole, very difficult purchase. Without her help i very much doubt we would ever of secured the property.

Once an offer was gained, the after-sales service was an important link in the progress of the sale. A great strength is effective communication between all members of the team. And to cap it all, they are a positive, friendly group, a delight to deal with!

27th Dec 2024 (25 days ago)I would highly recommend Jackson-Stops as Estate Agents. I had a very positive experience selling my late father's property; the team were in constant communication, including emails for house viewings and general progress updates. In particular, Hannie Theobald called me regularly to update on progress, and even went to the house to greet the new owners on completion day. I also feel that Jackson-Stops gave a realistic market appraisal of the house and did not try to oversell their services to me. Overall, Jackson-Stops provide a very efficient and personable service, and treated me with empathy and thoughtfulness given the circumstances of the sale; I would use them again.

They gave us the best valuation compared to others which wanted to put house on market for much less than what it was worth. TNA had the same vision as us and saw the effort we have put into the property. Conclusion - we had an offer in less than 3 days for the full asking price.

Worked tirelessly to ensure the whole thing was as smooth as possible, went above and beyond to keep in contact on days off and late evenings. Could not have asked any more. Lawsons as a whole are very professional and helpful ensuring peace of mind through a stressful and exciting period. Couldn’t recommend Hayley and the team any more. 5 star service.

Following a less positive experience with an agency that wasn't really understanding of the area or property we came to Belton Duffey following positive word of mouth, and we're glad we did. They've provided invaluable support around the listing of the property and in handling any questions we had. Everything has done with the utmost care and professionalism. We've felt not just professionally but also emotionally supported in this process by people who really care about their clients and have gone above and beyond in dealing with more difficult aspects of the selling process. The advice we've received has been considered and well reasoned, and the people in the office have been exceptionally friendly and accomodating.

My old home was definitely sold, not just marketed, and I love that the new owners are looking forward to making new memories in it. 13th Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)No idea how this estate agent sells houses or if they only earmark properties they post for specific clients/buyers already known to the business. Very oddly run, you phone up and are put through to an admin team of sorts, never an agent. They will take your details and say they will pass it onto the agent who will allegedly phone you themselves, they won’t give you the agents details either so you have to just wait for this call. It’s been just over a week of me trying to view a particular property, phoned in multiple times to no avail. - Update, if you find out who the agent dealing with the property is, you can try find their contact details on the actual website, the lady I dealt with was actually sound & treated me the way I’d expect to be, like 90% of other estate agent companies would’ve.
26th Sep 2024 (17 weeks ago)We chose Minors and Brady after the valuer did a good talk, which we unfortunately fell for! When the valuer suggested we market our property at between £410,000 to £425,000, which we thought was over priced and told him why. As we wanted a quickish sale we suggested that it be marketed for overs in excess of £395,000, the valuer said they would have no problems selling at this price. He said they had their own staff who would do the viewings and someone would be in contact with us to pop round and see the property so they knew what they were selling. We made it quite clear that we only wanted viewings from purchasers who were on the market after having time wasters last time we sold our property, even someone making a viewing appointment as they wanted to see our kitchen island! We said that we were going away for 3 weeks and did not want the house on the market whilst we were away so we would only be signing up with them for 8 weeks. As the valuer had told us they would have no problem selling at our suggested price then 8 weeks wouldn’t be a problem. We noticed a few days later that instead of signing us up for 8 weeks, as agreed, he had signed us up for 20 weeks, which he didn’t tell us about. However after contacting Minors and Brady they were happy to drop this to two months, as agreed before we signed up. I had plenty of updates from GetAgent but didn’t hear anything from Minors and Brady for the first few weeks. When I rang their office regarding the contract tie in date, I was told how many clicks etc our property had received and he would email the information over, which I never received. Four weeks later we had no one contact us about arranging to come round and see the property so they could see what they were selling, as we were told would happen and still not had one viewing. We had a call from the agents suggesting we drop to offers in between £375,000 and £400,000; so the price had been dropped by £50,000 from their initial suggested valuation in a month despite the valuer saying they would have no problems selling our property at the suggested price! After 5 weeks we received a call to arrange a viewing, I asked what the purchasers situation was, and he asked what I meant, when he was fully aware of what I meant. I said what is the purchasers status. I could tell I was just about to be fed a load of lies by his stuttering. He said let me get his information up on the system. After waiting, he told me where the purchaser lived and said he was on the market. I said I couldn’t do the day he suggested due to furniture being delivered but could do any other day, but pointed out as he hadn’t sold there was no rush. He said that there was a rush as the purchaser was having lots of viewings and lots of viewings booked in so it looks like he will sell over the next few days. I arranged a date a couple of days later. He also asked if I was happy to do the viewing, despite being told initially that they had dedicated staff to carry out the viewings, but as I was keen to have a viewing I agreed to do it. I was very dubious about the information I had been led to believe so checked the details on Rightmove to discover that there was not any properties for sale on the road he had given me. I emailed the manager, who I had to chase for a response, who confirmed that I had been lied to, as I suspected, the purchaser didn’t have his property on the market so he didn’t have a lot of viewings booked in, which is probably why Minors and Brady staff didn’t want to waste their time travelling to me to carry out the viewing but was quite happy for me to waste my time to carry out the valuation. Unfortunately we have not had a good experience with Minors and Brady. What was promised has never materialised and having a member of staff quite blatantly lie to us is totally unacceptable. Even after bringing this to the managers attention I have received no response, so he obviously thinks it is acceptable for members of his staff to lie! Under the circumstances I would not recommend Minor's and Brady
20th Dec 2024 (5 weeks ago)Valued property then when we signed with them they immediately wanted us to reduce it. They did not arrange a single viewing in 3 months . Said it was our fault for not reducing the price. Said they had tried to contact us.But only to arrange the EPC which had expired.
