28th Feb 2024 (21 weeks ago)The team at Hexham have been great especially Lucy. She has been excellent, reliable and focused on our sale, very hardworking and always conscientious, notifying of timescales plus a strong determination to reach the final completion of the sale (of which have to say has not been the easiest!), but she has complete the task for us and with a great sense of humour thrown in, which always helps.
17th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)The staff who came to see the property initially were very efficient and friendly. The photographs including the ‘walk around’ ones were well done, although we requested a couple of changes. The changes were made quickly and entirely to our satisfaction. They contacted us regularly with updates until we accepted an offer at which point they answered questions from both sides (outwith the legal stuff which was being handled by our solicitor). And they phoned to say congratulations and thank you when we completed the sale. They could not have been more helpful! A solid 10/10. ????

Having sold our property in Gosforth with Brunton Residential, And having a smooth exchange, we needed to rent for a period of 18 months while our new property came onto the market, so we thought with this in mind we would use there services again, nothing wrong with the property rented, or the overall service, we are just not happy with the non return of some of our deposit, we moved into the property on the 18th August 2022 and moved out on the 01st March 2024, they kept £250.00 for the garden not being in the same good condition as when we moved in the summer of 2022, we had a gardener cutting the lawns every two weeks in season, however had stopped and wasn't starting again until the start of the spring, we were also charged for not removing a wooden child's play house, which was was left by the current owners, which we thought was a little unfair as it was not ours to remove.
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

27th Jun 2023 (1 year ago)H&H were brilliant to deal with to deal with. We were selling a small piece of land. Their expertise, experience and knowledge of the area were all spot on. Any queries and problems were dealt with promptly and sympathetically. We would highly recommend H&H Land Estates Carlisle.
17th May 2023 (1 year ago)Only £99 in estate agency fees. Sold in a week! Easy to use portal to load up property info and photos also respond to queries and set up viewings etc. Highly recommend if you want to DIY.

Adam is a genuinely nice guy and this, in combination with his impressive knowledge and expertise, got our house sold (for the full asking price) in less than 3 weeks! Since then, Adam has continued to offer us advice and support and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We honestly couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend him to anyone!

The whole team were so supportive and made a massively stressful time a lot less stressful. Amazing company with amazing staff :)
