The team's professionalism and stellar communication kept us in the loop throughout. Kudos to our agent, Amanda, whose insights and efficiency made the process a breeze. If you're looking for a smooth home-buying experience, we wholeheartedly recommend Symonds & Sampson Axminster. Thanks to them, we're just moved in just in time for Christmas!
30th Dec 2023 (17 weeks ago)When selling our house recently, we had quotes from local estate agents and chose Fox and Sons because they actually seemed to care and take an interest in us and our house! We were glad we did as we thought they were fantastic, Beth, Leon and Matt were friendly, helpful, professional and always available to answer any of our questions. (No matter how random they were!) Leon kept us updated throughout the process and we definitely felt that we were in good hands. Whilst Fox and Sons may not be the cheapest option, it was definitely worth it and we would thoroughly recommend them

18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)We used Savills Exeter to sell our residence in North Devon. The process was very smooth from start to finish, especially impressive given a challenged trading environment and interest rate uncertainty. We achieved our target price with a very harmonious closing process. I think both the Buyer and Seller should equally feel good about the transaction, facilitated in no small part due to Savills Exeter. Of particular note was Chris Clifford's professionalism and exceptional communication skills that went above and beyond - a great comfort to my wife and me. Recommended.
15th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)This estate agency is absolutely terrible. As a person trying to buy a home they are rude on the phone and don’t seem proactive, or fussed. I think it’s the worst estate agency I’ve come across and it’s a shame because they seem the prominent agency in Dorset and Devon (perhaps they know they have the monopoly). I’m now searching for homes that are with other estate agents- 3rd Apr 2024 (22 days ago)I dealt with Stags Exeter Office letting team on a number of apartments. Advice on rents and marketing proved to be correct every time and in documenting deals agreed they were efficient and thorough. Tess, Jackie and the team were a pleasure to deal with and, when asked, even willing to provide generally tenancy advice on matters outside their role. Would I use them again? Without hesitation.
19th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Cardens have been the agent for the flat I've been renting for the last 12+ years, and they have always been incredibly helpful. Whenever I've had to contact them about something I get a reply quickly. Beverley in particular has always done her best to help, despite not being the assigned manager for my property she has still been happy to be my point of contact and replied to every single email I've sent over the years. She has also been very approachable, in fact all of the Cardens staff I've interacted with have been friendly. I was actually going through some difficult times a couple of years back and Cardens really went above and beyond to help, whereas most landlords & estate agents would've simply just moved on to another tenant. Of course having a fantastic landlord who is very understanding helps, but Cardens have been just as great and thanks to their help I am in a far better situation now. I am grateful to have been able to keep my tenancy for 12 years, which gives a sense of security even during these difficult economic times. From my experience I would definitely recommend Cardens as a lettings agent.

8th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)Offer to buy a house was accepted and it was up to our surveyors to highlight a Grade 2 listing. Whilst Knight Frank ‘empathise’ we are at considerable out of pocket expense. Property now correctly advertised as listed and whatever the background of who claims what, the agent is expected to have carried out due diligence to confirm facts of what they are marketing. Knight Frank Exeter blame their customer and empathise with potential buyer where legislation states an agent must disclose all information before costs related to surveying or conveying are undertaken. However, this shoddy outfit shirk all responsibility; what a reflection of where we are in todays world. Referring to ombudsman as customer service are running on pastoral ‘empathy’ rather than address a problem where potential buyers remain considerably out of pocket. Our contract was with Knight Frank and their codes of ethics and standards where due diligence is the foundation. The Exeter office has failed miserably to address their duty of professional responsibility. Buyers (and sellers) beware! (investigation response was that "we didn't know, not out fault") With a pending county court claim all is resolved!

You receive genuine information and professional guidance - no question is too small - and someone was always on hand to assist. It has been easy working with Underhill and also a pleasure. I would highly recommend Underhill and would definitely use them again. Thank you all in the Exeter branch :)

Alongside their excellence, we think it is important tonuse local providers. We have had both buying and selling experience with Dormans and they have always been excellent!

Unlike most other Estate Agents Paul was contactable both day and night and never failed to get back to us and sort out any problems that arose and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Paul who was a pleasure to work with.
15th Apr 2024 (10 days ago)We could not recommend anyone else to sell our property and to purchase a new property from. After getting quotes and meeting different people from various estate agents we had no doubt in choosing Right at Home. My partner dealt with it mostly due to the nature of my work. However, from his feedback they were welcoming, relaxed, and they did not feel like your “typical sales people” they were not pushy compared to others. Once our property was put up for sale it took under a month to sale bearing in mind Christmas period was included within this time. Right at Home had mortgage advisors and solicitors that they recommended which we used and had no problems. This shows that Right at Home have the passion and rapport with what they do. We viewed a property that Right at Home were selling and Sarah was so friendly, knowledgeable about the property and was able to answer questions without hesitation. We even had a few giggles including me asking her not to use her skills with other viewers viewing the house, due to us falling in love with the property, and needed a mortgage in principle before putting an offer down. (We will never know if she used her selling skills on further viewings on the property as we managed to purchase the house that we wanted haha). Anyway, during the process of selling and buying the properties the ladies were with us every step making sure things were on track and everyone who were involved were all going in the same direction. They contacted solicitors to see where the process was at and kept us updated. Any questions or help that may have been needed were met. Emails and contact were answered within the same day and mostly within the same hour of sending an email. This allowed us to feel relaxed and knowing their fast response meant that they were on the ball with the process which made us confident with each step. The house sell and the one we purchased went very smoothly and Jo met us with our key, a welcome box, and a card. This was just a lovely little touch to our new adventure. The after care has been just as great in respect of making sure post does not get missed and getting it to previous owners. Thank you so much to all who dealt with us in selling and purchasing our perfect property to make new memories in. Incredible customer service, excellent people skills, amazing communication, great experience from start to finish. Definitely recommend to use for selling and purchasing a property. We could not be happier with the services that were provided from Right at Home. Thank you again, Sam and Roxy.
