Not to put too fine a point on it, I found myself in a somewhat
sticky situation as regards an old guy like me ! Due to events
entirely beyond my control ( covid19 cross-infection risks being
pretty paramount when you are in your eighties ! ) and forced to leave
my home of 20 years at very short notice, the staff at Fulfords were simply magnificent. Maisie moved with the speedof light ! ......
and stuck to that speed without the slightest hesitation.
Now I have a shiny new home in a very nice place in Sidmouth,
and move into it in a few days time. No-one human could beat that performance. Simply staggering. The word thankyou does NOT fit
this occasion......!

Total lack of communication, no response to
any issues you have with them or landlords or management companies, total lack systems and processes, any problems with these people just gets passed on to another person... No respect in treating there customers with customer service, and that's what Fulfords are being payed to do. I will not ever use them again or recommend these incompetent agents to anyone, and what ever you do, CERTAINLY would not recommend you rent through these people as they seem to rent out illegal houses.

Local House Sale.
If I was to need a local agent in the area again then I would employ Fulfords again without doubt.
A strong meeting from the start with a confident "we WILL sell this for you".
Published online marketing was thorough and fast, followed by a good number of prospective purchasers viewing the property. Several offers, some good , some not so good.
We lost a sale within the first 6 weeks, but only because the prospect client messed everyone around and pulled out, and was no reflection of Fulfords other than we were all frustrated but even more motivated to get the house sold to the right buyer.
We then we agreed a sale for the second time with the now new owner. This completed in a very short time.
As with most house sales there are hiccups along the way but we all communicated well and got the job done.
Thank you Fulfords for the support, especially through difficult circumstances.

I am very pleased with the service offered by the team at Fulfords Honiton in selling my property. The team understood that I really appreciated updates and touch points and as such followed up with me on a regular basis. They assisted my navigation through the journey of selling the property and were prepared to go the extra mile. This was particularly important for me as I did not live local to the property.

Every one that I talked to recommended Fulfords Lettings and I now understand why, its been a pleasure dealing with you. Living in Spain I was quite concerned about my mothers house and the works that needed doing before I could rent it out. The Staff at Fulford Lettings Honiton and their property management department helped me with friendly advice, arranged workmen to do the necessary repairs at a very resonable rate and took care of all the details. My experience with Fulfordsn Lettings has been very positive and I would highly recommend them.

Totally incompetent. My first home buying experience was an absolute disaster thanks to Fulfords. From being given the keys to the house we purchased before the seller had even moved out to a careless mortgage advisor. Empty threats and pushy staff. I would avoid Fulfords like the plague.
First of all, the house purchase was held up due to difficulties the seller was having moving into their new home. I don't know the full details but all I know is it is was to do with a mortgage that Fulfords in house mortgage advisor had setup.
We also went with their in house mortgage advisor. I really wish I hadn't. He failed to inspire me with much confidence. Everything seemed fine on the initial meeting but from then on, things just got worse. We were made promises that we'd have a mortgage offer within a month. I was asked a couple weeks in to fax over some paperwork to the mortgage advisor so he could get it to the mortgage lender and thought everything was sorted. On chasing this up a month later, no mortgage yet. I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently for another fortnight. Still no mortgage so I chased it up. I then got requests for more paperwork. Mostly paperwork I had already given him! Is this to say he lost the paperwork I had already sent him? When something has my personal financial details on I'd like to think they deal with it safely but all seemed too lax regarding this matter. These difficulties persisted for 4 months before I received my mortgage offer. A far cry from the 4 weeks quoted.
Then there was the sales staff. Infuriating to say the least. We experienced difficulties in purchasing the property that we did. Difficulties that Fulfords didn't keep us posted on at all. The house sale was about to fall through and they didn't even have the courtesy to call. A house is one of the biggest purchases you'll make in your life and they could not even be bothered to keep me up to date.
When things did get back on track and contracts were due to be released, I was pestered every day over the phone for the best part of week to get my contract in. What made me furious was I hadn't even received the contract to sign yet. I was given threats that the house purchase was in danger and that I really need to get the paper work in. This is a house purchase that had been going on for 6 months at this stage. I could not believe the nerve of Debbie to call me up and tell me unless I got my contract in immediately, the house sale was going to fall through when I didn't even have the paperwork and it had already dragged on for 6 months! I found Debbie to be a very unpleasant person to deal with. Pushy and rude.
There's also the legal issues of the service Fulfords provided. The contract clearly stated an exchange date. A few days before the exchange date we popped in to check everything was in order. We were told everything was fine and that we could move in that day. Great we thought. The seller had moved out early. They then proceeded to hand us the keys to the house. We arrive at the house, open the door and walk in. The seller was still in the process of moving out! Luckily the seller wasn't there at the time but the sellers boxes of clothing and personal items were all still sat in the living room. I don't like the thought of an estate agent handing my keys over to someone before a legally agreed date when I could potentially still be there!
Fulfords then have the nerve to send me an email asking me to leave a GOOD review on Google. I don't think so.
