5th Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)I'm writing this review as a fellow estate agent. I've recently had Rural Scene in a chain with myself and Richard was absolutely fantastic. He is extremely proactive and provided us with updates weekly so that our chain moved forward smoothly and we have just today exchanged contracts. If anyone is looking for a rural estate agent then I would highly recommend Rural Scene. As an agent myself the good ones stand out and Richard is brilliant.
29th May 2020 (4 years ago)I have used the services of Carter Jonas in both Cambridge and Suffolk. They have repeatedly delivered excellent professional service when the markets have been both buoyant and not. They go the extra mile and are incredibly accommodating. I only once used another agent who over promised and then under delivered. I changed to Carter Jonas again (they were very gracious) as a result I had a buyer within days of the instruction.

From initial contact despite travelling he was great from outset. He was accommodating for us to view the property and has always answered any questions promptly. Didn't feel like we were working with a business for our home purchase, Ivor is down to earth, friendly yet still professional. We have saved his number and will definitely keep in touch. We are settled in our new home with huge thanks to Ivor for his support. Thank again Lafford James Team!

I move from Belgium to UK last summer and I found my current house via Carter Jonas and I could not be more surprised with how supportive the members of this company are especially Anton Frost ,Lauren Howse , Leisa Jacson, Megan Roots and Eleanor Penney who I am extremely grateful for as they have been there for me constantly to answer any questions or queries I have no matter how small or silly. They have given me constant attention ,support ,help and reassurance and I couldn’t be more thankful. I am absolutely over the moon with the service, support and help I have received from Carter Jonas as a whole. I will definitely be using Carter Jonas in the future and will definitely recommend them to everyone I know who needs help with finding a property with the help of such lovely members of staff and I do highly also recommend to work with Carter Jonas if you are moving from abroad. 13th Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)No idea how this estate agent sells houses or if they only earmark properties they post for specific clients/buyers already known to the business. Very oddly run, you phone up and are put through to an admin team of sorts, never an agent. They will take your details and say they will pass it onto the agent who will allegedly phone you themselves, they won’t give you the agents details either so you have to just wait for this call. It’s been just over a week of me trying to view a particular property, phoned in multiple times to no avail. - Update, if you find out who the agent dealing with the property is, you can try find their contact details on the actual website, the lady I dealt with was actually sound & treated me the way I’d expect to be, like 90% of other estate agent companies would’ve.
22nd May 2021 (3 years ago)We were impressed with Mark as soon as we met, with his local knowledge and unique approach to property sales. He thinks outside the box to get the best for his client. The photos he marketed were of the highest quality and showed our home in the best possible way. Once we had accepted an offer on our house, Mark really drove all parties related to the sale. He was proactive and a great communicator. We will never use a High Street Estate Agency again!
5th Dec 2024 (6 weeks ago)We have used Cathy and the team at Hockeys twice now and i would not even think twice about selling through any of the other agencies in the area! Cathy sold both houses; she is honest, reliable, trustworthy and always picks up the phone - most importantly she tells the truth - not just something you want to hear! We have had contact with most of the team at Hockeys Wisbech, from the initial meeting to the final handover of keys and you would not wish for a more reliant and trustworthy agency. If you are selling in the area please do not use anyone else and invite Hockeys around and you will know your in the safest hands! A review left with love for them all - Cathy, David, James and Katie!
31st Jul 2024 (24 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Sold our house with in 6 weeks of putting it on the market with them, super pleased fast service from start to completion would recommend to anyone for a quick and smooth sale!
