17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Rebecca and the team placed us where we belong in our new home, and did so in a mature, reliable and professional manner. Consider this a thorough and unconditional endorsement of their services.

I know the seller was particularly demanding at times and required them to show extreme patience. Thanks to Mike and Tom for all your help it has been very much appreciated.

24th Nov 2025 (23 weeks ago)Similar to another review reference letting a property, they were only interested in getting their money. They allowed our tenants to leave early and refused to cover any shortfall due to their “miscommunication”. Tried to bring my family members private affairs into the situation as a way of blackmail. I am currently perusing lost earnings and blackmail complaints through the property ombudsman. Shocking.

20th Apr 2026 (15 days ago)I have tried to purchase 2 properties through Freeman Foreman and will never go to them again. They do not appear to value or want to work with buyers. The first time they didnt bother to turn up to a viewing and the second time where very dismissive of an offer i put forward, saying when i had on offer on my property to come back ... but in a dismissive efficiace way. I thought estate agents were meant to work for buys and sellers to get the best deal for their seller ... not upset buyers so they walk away from the agency!

From our first contact with Greg through to viewings etc Lucy and Will have always been most helpful. We would like to make a special mention for Katie Walters who has gone out of her way to do whatever she can to speed up the selling process in order for us, hopefully, to purchase our next property.
