We have just moved house and found our property through Cray&Norton. A wonderful team always there to help and assist I would highly recommend anyone looking to move property to check them out. Couldn’t be happier :)
Tried on multiple occasions to get hold of someone at Cray & Norton. Emailed via 3rd party website - no reply. Filled in contact form on their website, no reply. Called, no answer. Eventually got hold of someone via email who sent a video of the flat. Okay great, I had a couple of simple questions (council tax band, etc). Guy said he'd get back to me and never bothered.
I gave up and found somewhere via Openrent - I move in next week. No way I want to rent from a company who's communication is so poor. Not a chance. If you aren't bothered about getting custom then good luck to you!
Have bought and sold a few houses through Wood and Pilcher in Heathfield and every time they've provided an excellent service and 100% professional. Wont sell any houses with anyone else now, unfortunately I might have to buy through other agents though!
Really pleased with these. Staff always called when they said they would and they were really helpful right up until and even after I got my keys to my new home. Thank you.
My wife required the sale of a probate property in TN1. She chose Jackson Stops above two other agents because of their detailed knowledge of the local property market. Debbie kept us fully informed, was always available, was always able to field difficult situations and most importantly get us over the line to a sale despite a difficult housing market.
Utterly disappointing and would recommend not using this agent. We arranged for a break clause in our tenancy contract as we knew we were likely to buy. We gave notice and moved out 5 months before the yearly contract was finished. It seems a highly unlikely coincidence that they couldn’t find a new tenant for 5 months but then could find someone to move in the day we stop paying - we have been completely taken advantage of. We know from various people who were booked to come and see the property that the estate agent didn’t show up or came with the wrong keys, just grossly incompetent and showed they had no interest in finding a new tenant until it actually would impact their own income and used us in the meantime. Avoid at all costs.
Churchill House, 85 Mount Pleasant Road, Tunbridge Wells
Very impressed with the service from start to finish. We sold and bought through Knight Frank in Tunbridge Wells and exchanged contracts within 6 weeks from going on the market. Impeccable service from the whole office and especially from Dan and Rupert. Thanks for everything!
Listed house for 2 months with Knight Frank, at their recommended price. During the time they found one prospective purchaser and forgot to turn up for the viewing and, when contacted, said that everyone was in a meeting and nothing could be done. Whilst the market is subdued, forgetting to turn up to the only viewing is unforgivable. We had paid £300 upfront for photos, plans and EPC - they gave these to us, but rfeused to refund the £300 :( Would not recommend - chaotic office with unhelpful staff. Have gone elsewhere!
Really impressed with the service from Jackson-Stops. Lyn has been great during the process of renting our house. If you want to know everything is being done properly I would highly recommend.
Well I rented a house in Tunbridge Wells with my family hoping for a long term at least 2/3 years.
We where reassured by the agent Lyn McDonald
The landlord have not interest to sale or change tenants but after only 7 months they send in a surveyor to value the property and just a month after repossession letter .
I have moved in this house with my wife and 2 children we bought furniture, improvements made ,
As long term intent.
I would not trust this people greedy and false .
Be warned if you are dealing with them
